AN ORDINANCE AMENDINGING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED
AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A
PART OF TIME MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE
A PART OF LOT NO. 6 IN BLOCK NO. 43 OF THE ORIGINAL
TOWN OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DE-
SCRIBED BELOW, FROM R -1, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT, TO 0 -2, LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, AS HEREIN-
AFTER SET FORTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "R -1"
Single Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business Dist-
rict on the following described real property, to -wit:
BEING the South part of Lot No. 6 in Block No. 43 of the City of
Round Rock according to the map or plat of said City of record
in Vol. 25, Pages 31I -315, Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas;
BEGINNING at a point in the West line of said Lot No. 6 where a
fence marks the South line of a part of said Lot No. 6 belonging
to Marvin D. Olson, the North -West corner hereof;
THENCE about S. 17° 351 E. along the West line of Lot No. 6 a
distance of approximately 151 feet to the S.W. corner of Lot.NO..
6 and the S.W. corner hereof;
THENCE along the S. line of Lot No. 6 and the N. right of way
line of Round Rock Avenue, 82 feet to a point for an inside cor-
ner hereof; THENCE 7.2 feet along the S. line of Lot 6 and the
N. line of Austin Ave. to the S.E. corner of Lot No. 6 and the
S.E. corner hereof;
TIENCE about N. 17° 14 W. along the E. line of Lot 6 approximat-
ely 188 feet to a point where a line projected along the S. line
of the aforementioned Marvin D. Olson lot would intersect said E.
line of Lot No. 6, the N.E. corner hereof;
THENCE about S. 73 30' W. along said projected line and the South
line of the Olson lot approximately 9L. feet to the place of BEGINN-
ING.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change
in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission
for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved
the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described proper-
ty from 'R -1" Single Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Bus-
iness District, after holding a public hearing thereon on the 26th
day of August, 1976; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement sot forth in the Zoning
Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters
have been fully complied with; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission approved the
change aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance; said approval being given
by said Commission on the 26th day of August, 1976;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning Map
of the City of Round Rock be amended so that the property above de-
scribed shall be and the same is hereby removed from "R -1" Single
Family Residential District to "B -2 " Local Business District. 7 READ, PASSED AND ADOPTED this / day of O 1976.
