Please be advised that at a special meeting of the
Concerned Citizens Association of Round Rock West, Sections
II and IV, duly called for that purpose, the membership voted,
without a single negative vote, to oppose any zoning changes
in Round Rock West from single family dwelling (R -1) to any
other classification.
The association is comprised of homeowners in
Sections II and IV and we feel it is important that you as our
elected representatives are aware of these strong feelings
before voting on the rezoning proposal.

ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED
AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE
MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE ORIGINAL
ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE 10.00 ACRES OF LAND BEING
A PORTION OF LOT NO. 1 OF ROUND ROCK WEST SECTION
THREE (REVISED) A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK,WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME
10 PAGES 75 -76 OF THE PLAT RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON
COUNTY, TEXAS AS DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS
BELOW FROM "I -2 "HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "R -2"
MULTI- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, AS HEREINAFTER
SET FORTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council
for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "I -2"
Heavy Industrial District to "R -2" Multi- Family Residential
District on the following described real property, to -wit:
BEGINNING at an iron pin found in the east r.o.w. line of Round
Rock West Drive at the Northwest corner of the above described
Lot 1 of Round Rock West, Section Three(Revised) for the North-
west corner and PLACE OF BEGINNING hereof
THENCE, with the north line of said Lot 1, the following courses:
N 60 54' E for a distance of 23.61 feet to an
iron pin found for an angle point hereof
N 45 49' E for a distance of 262.31 feet to an
iron pin found for an angle point hereof
N 55 57' E for a distance of 243.46 feet to an
iron pin found for an angle point hereof
N 64 02' E for a distance of 298.41 feet to an
iron pin found for an angle point hereof
N 71° 00' E for a distance 140.88 feet to an
iron pin set for the Northeast corner hereof
THENCE S 04 13' E for a distance of 706.58 feet to an iron pin
found in the north r.o.w. line of Round Rock West Drive for the
Southeast corner hereof
THENCE, with the north and east r.o.w. lines of Round Rock West
Drive, the following courses:
S 82 40' W for a distance of 481.78 feet to an
iron pin found at a point of curve to the right
hereof
Along a curve to the right whose central angle is
68° 30', radius is 335.29 feet, and whose long chord
bears N 63 18' 30" W for a distance of 375.23 feet
to an iron pin found at a point of tangency hereof
N 29 17' W for a distance of 103.73 feet to the PLACE
OF BEGINNING and containing 10.00 acres of land.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed
change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning
Commission for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has
approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above
described porperty from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District to "R -2"
Multi- FamilyResidential- District, after holding a public hearing
thereon the 26th day of May, 1977; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the
Zoning Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural
matters have been fully complied with; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission approved
the change aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance; said approval being
given by said commission on the 26th day of May, 1977; and
WHEREAS, after due notice a public hearing was held before
the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas on June 2nd,
1977;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance and the Zoning
map of the City of Round Rock, be amended so that the property above
described shall be and the same is hereby removed from "I -2" Heavy
Industrial District to "R -2" Multi- Family Residential District.
