AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE ALL OF LOT 12 AND THE WEST ONE -HALF OF LOT 13 OF BLACK 31, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "R -1" SINGLE - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO "B -2" LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. BE IT ORDAINED BY 'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District on the following described real property, to -wit: BEING all of Lot 12 and the West one -half of Lot 13 of Block 31 of the Town of Round Rock, Texas, part of a tract described in a deed from John M. Jordan to Bobby Joe Laurence of record in Vol. 515, Page 167, Deed Records of Wil- liamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground in March of 1977, by W. F. Forest, Registered Public Surveyor No. 101. BEGINNING at an iron pin in the South line of F.M. 620 (Round Rock Avenue), the Northwest corner of Lot 12 of Block 31 of the Town of Round Rock. THENCE with R.O.W. line S 80 43' E 91.14 feet to set an iron pin in the North line of Lot 13 of Block 31. THENCE S 18 00' E 27.82 feet to the North line of a 20 foot wide alley. THENCE S 72 00' W 81.00 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 12 of Block 31. THENCE N 18 00' W 69.60 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recom- mendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property from "R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District, after holding a public hearing thereon on the 30th day of June, 1977, and the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 30th day of June, 1977, that the Zoning Ordinance be amended so that the above - described property be changed from "R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District; and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property above- described shall be and the same is hereby removed from "R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District.
