AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "REVISED SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE" PASSED
AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
IN MARCH OF 1970, BY (1) AMENDING SUB- SECTION 5.201C TO PROVIDE
FOR NEW TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SUBMISSION OF A FINAL PLAT,
(2) AMENDING SUB - SECTION 5.201C 7.a.T0 PROVIDE THAT THE NUMBER OF
FEET ON A ROADWAY SHALL BE SHOWN ON A PLAT, (3) AMENDING SECTION
6.13 TO PROVIDE THAT ALL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS SHALL CONFORM WITH
THE TEXAS MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES FOR STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS, VOLUMES 1 AND 2, (4) AMENDING SUB- SECTION 6.601B
TO PROVIDE FOR A NEW MAXIMUM BLOCK LENGTH; PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS
CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECT OF THIS ORDINANCE ON OTHER
ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Section 1.
Sub- Section 5.201C of the Revised Subdivision Ordinance passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, in March of
1970, is hereby amended so as to hereafter read as follows:
5.201
C. The final plat shall be drawn in india ink on tracing cloth,
mylar or a comparable substitute, sheets eighteen inches by twenty -four
inches (18 "x24 ") and to a scale of one (1) inch to one hundred (100) feet.
Where more than one sheet is required, an index sheet of maximum size,
eighteen inches by twenty -four inches (18 "x24 ") shall be filed showing the
entire subdivision. The following information will be shown on or will
accompany the plat:.
Section 2.
Sub- Section 5.201C 7.a.,of the Revised Subdivision Ordinance passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, in March
of 1970, is hereby amended so as to hereafter read as follows:
5.201
a. For streets: Complete curve data (Delta, Length of
Curve, Radius, Point of Curvature, Point of Reverse Curvature, Point of
Tangency) shown on the center line or on each side of the street; length,
and bearing of all tangents; dimensions from all angle points of curve to
an adjacent side lot line shall be provided. The number of feet of
roadway shall also be shown on the plat.
Section 3.
Section 6.13 STREET SIGNS AND WATER METER BOXES, of the Revised Subdivision
Ordinance passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Round Rock,
Texas, in March of 1970, is hereby amended so as to hereafter read as follows:
Sec. 6.13 TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS, STREET SIGNS AND WATER METER BOXES:
All traffic control signs shall be provided and installed by the developer
and shall conform with the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices
for Streets and Highways, Vols. 1 & 2. All street signs and water meter
boxes shall be provided and installed by the developer and said street signs
and water meter boxes must meet the specifications set forth by the City of
Round Rock.
Section 4.
Sub- Section 6.601E of the Revised Subdivision Ordinance passed and adopted .
by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, in March of 1970, is
hereby amended so as to hereafter read as follows:
6.601. Block Length:
B. On Major Street: Maximum block length along a major street
shall be fifteen hundred (1500) feet except under special conditions and upon
approval of the Planning Commission.
Section 5.
It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, that the subsections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses,
and phrases of this ordinance shall be severable. If any of them shall be
declared unconstitutional or invalid by the valid judgment or decree of any
court of competent jurisdiction, it is the intention of the City Council
of the City of Round Rock, Texas, that such unconstitutionality or invalidity
shall not effect any of the remaining sub- sections, paragraphs, sentences,
clauses, or phrases of this ordinance. This ordinance would have been
enacted by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, without the
incorporation herein of any unconstitutional or invalid sub- sections,
paragraphs, sentences, clauses, or phrases.
Section 6.
All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions in conflict herewith
are hereby expressly repealed to the extent of such conflict.
