AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE 2.14 ACRES OF BLOCK 2 STARKFIELD ADDITION TO ROUND ROCK, TEXAS AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "R -1" SINGLE - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO "R-1A" SINGLE -TWO- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DIS- TRICT, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "R -1" Single- Family Residential District to "R -1A" Single -Two- Family Residential District on the following described real property, to -wit: BEING 2.14 acres of Block 2 Starkfield Addition to Round Rock Texas, part of a tract described in a deed from Theo Zimmerman to Reuben Jacobson of record in Vol. 432, Page 21, Deed Records, Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground by W. F Forest, Registered Public Surveyor #101, in January of 1970. BEGINNING at an iron pin set in the North line of Block 2 and 86.7 feet from the N E corner of same, in the South line of Pecan Drive. THENCE S 1 09' W 61.8 feet to set an iron pin. THENCE S 74 51' W 59.9 feet and S 67 25' W 87 feet, setting iron pins. THENCE 5 2 25' E 170 feet to set an iron pin in the N W line of Lot 40, Block 1, 7.5 feet from the North corner of same. THENCE S 50 58' W 82.5 feet, 5 73 15' W 124 feet and S 55 39' W 176.5 feet with the N W line of Block 1, and the S E line of Block 2, setting iron pins, to an iron stake at the corner of a rock fence at the common West corner of Block 1 & 2. THENCE N 11 24' E 137.7 feet and N 14 39' E 201.2 feet with an old fence to set an iron pin for the S W corner of the Jack Lunsford Lot. THENCE S 88 51' E to set an iron pin for the S E corner of the Lunsford Lot. THENCE N 14 39' E 150 feet to set an iron pin for the N E corner of the Lunsford Lot. THENCE S 88 51' E 243.2 feet with the South line of Pecan Drive to the POINT OF BEGINNING. WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property from "R -1" Single- Family Residential District to "R -1A" Single -Two- Family Residential District, after holding a public hearing thereon on the 25th day of August, 1977, and the City Planning and Zoning Comm- ission has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 25th of August, 1977, that the Zoning Ordinance be amended so that the above - described property be changed from "R -1" Single - Family Res- idential District to "R-1A" Single- Two - Family Residential District; and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with: NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of RoundRock, Texas be amended so that the property above - described shall be and the same is hereby removed from "R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "R -1A" Single - Two - Family Residential District.
