AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER,
1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART
OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE THE NORTH PART OF LOT
6, BLOCK 43, OF THE ORIGINAL TOWN OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS,
AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "R -1" SINGLE - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO "B -2"
LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the
City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance
from "R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District
on the following described real property, to -wit:
BEING a portion of Lot Six (6) in Block Forty -Three of the Original Town of
Round Rock in Williamson County, Texas, the map of said town being found of
record in Volume 25, Pages 314 -315 of the Plat Records of said County, said
portion being a portion of that tract conveyed to Round Rock Savings from
Billie Sue Henna and also being a portion of that tract conveyed to said
Round Rock Savings from M. D. Olson, said conveyance being described in Deeds
Recorded in Volume 686 , Page 403 and Volume 636, Page 400 respectively,
of the Deed Records of said County and is more particulary described by metes
and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin found for the Northeast corner of said lot 6, for
the Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE S17 ° 55'40 "E, 95.7 feet to a point in the East line of said B. S. Henna
tract for the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE S75 ° 12'W, 94.86 feet to a point in the West line of said lot 6 for
the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE along the West line of said lot 6 N17 55'40 "W, 98.30 feet to a point
in the South R.O.W. line of West Anderson Avenue for the Northwest corner
hereof;
THENCE N76 °46'E, 95.04 feet along said R.O.W. line past the Northwest corner
of said B. S. Henna tract to the Point of Beginning and containing 9188
square feet of land more or less.
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the
Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation
and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the
changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property from "R -1"
Single - Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District, after
holding a public hearing thereon on the 3rd day of November, 1977 and the City
Planning and Zoning Commission has approved and recommended to the City Council
on the 10th day of November, 1977, that the Zoning Ordinance be amended so that
the above - described property be changed from "R -1" Single Family Residential
District to "B -2" Local Business District; and
NO
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance
concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully
complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property above - described shall
be and the same is hereby removed from "R -1" Single - Family Residential
District to "B -2" Local Business District.

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote
of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this
ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.
