AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 8th DAY OF
December , 19 , AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING
THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE
5.786 ACRES OUT OF THE J. M. HarrellSURVEY, ABSTRACT N0. 284 IN WILLIAMSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM I -2 Industrial
DISTRICT TO R -2 Multi - Family Residential DISTRICT,
AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council for the
purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from I -2 Industrial
District to R -2 Multi- Family Residential
on the following described real property, to —wit:
FIELD NOTES FOR A 5.786 ACRE TRACT 02 LAND:
Being a portion of that comhined 20 and 25 acre tract of land situated in Williamson
County, Texas conveyed to C. W. Prewitt, described in a deed recorded in Volume 218,
Page 180 of the Deed Records of said County, said portion being 5.786 acres out of
the Jacob M. Harrell Survey, Abstract No. 284, and being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at the Northeast corner of the Jacob M. Harrell Survey,
Abstract No. 234;
Thence S71 °00'W, 2730 feet as shown on the plat of "Round Rock West Section One
recorded in Volume 7, Pages 35 and 36 of the Plat Records of said County;
Thence S09°E, 4635 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING and the Northwest corner of
this herein described tract, also being the Southwest corner of a 6.0 acre tract
conveyed to Baptist Missionary Association of Texas by C. W. Prewitt by deed
recorded in Volume 612, Page 607 of the Deed Records of said County;
Thence N82 °42'E, 652.32 feet along the South line of said 6.0 acre tract, and being
the North line of this herein described tract, for the Northeast corner hereof;
Thence S52 °17'E, 312.07 feet to an ell corner hereof;
Thence S06 °19'W, 27.25 feet to a non- tangent point on a curve for an ell corner hereof;
Thence along the arc of a curve to the right having the elements of delta = 23 °38'57 ",
radius = 800.00 feet, tangent = 167.49 feet, arc = 330.21 feet, chord and chord
bearing of 327.87 feet, S69 °10'32 "W to a Point of Tangency;
Thence S81 °00'W, 537.88 feet to a point in the West line of the aforesaid combined
20 and 25 acre tract of land for the Southwest corner hereof;
Thence N09 °00'W, 340.00 feet along said West line to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING
and containing 5.786 acres of land.

AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in
the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its
recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the
changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from
1-2 Industrial District to R -2 Multi- Family Residential
District, after holding a public hearing thereon on the
December , 1977; and

WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance
concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been
fully complied with; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission approved the
change aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance; said approval being given by
said commission on the 1st day of December , 1977;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the
City of Round Rock, be amended so that the property above described shall
be and the same is hereby removed from 1 -2 Industrial
to R -2 Multi- Family Residential District
