AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUND-
ARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXA-
TION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 360 ACRES OF LAND,, <
MORE OR LESS, INCLUDING THE OLD TOWN AREA, WHICH SAID TER-
RITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
Whereas, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an oppor-
tunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described
property, to wit:
BEGINNING for a point of reference at the intersection of the west Right -
of -Way Interstate 35 and Brushy Creek said point being a corner of Round
Rock City limit;
THENCE in a westerly direction along Brushy Creek and Round Rock City
limits to a point;
THENCE in a southerly direction along Round Rock City limits to a point
on the north Right -of -Way of Highway 620 and Round Rock City limits;
THENCE in a westerly direction along the north Right -of -Way of Highway
620 and Round Rock City limits to a point said point being at highway
station 460 +16 and a northwest corner of Round Rock City limits;
THENCE in a northerly direction approximately N14 °E, 450 feet more or
less to a point being a southwest corner of a tract of land known as
Creekside Industrial Park as recorded in Vol. 611 Page 754 of the Deed
Records of Williamson County, Texas;

THENCE, with the meanders of Brushy Creek the following courses North 15

THENCE in a southerly direction along said Right -of -Way and Round Rock
City limits to the intersection of Brushy Creek and the point of beginning
and containing 360 acres of land, more or less, including the Old Town area.

nor less than ten days prior to the institution of annexation proceedings; and
Whereas, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper
having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas, on the 29th day
of December, 1977, which date is not more than twenty nor less than ten days
prior to the date of such public hearing; and
Whereas, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present bound-
aries of the City of Round Rock, Texas; and
Whereas, all requirements of the laws of the State of Texas and the
Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rack have been complied with; and
Whereas, the territory above described contains 360 acres, more or
less; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Section 1. The following described land and territory lying adjacent
to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, is
hereby added and annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory
hereinafter described shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits
of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present boundary limits of such city, ,.
at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered
and amended so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, to wit: -

ATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC
HEARING:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Section 1. On the 12th day of January, 1978, at 7:00
o'clock P.M. in the City Council Chamber in the Round Rock Public
Library Meeting Room in the City of Round Rock, Texas, the City
Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested persons

RITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
Whereas, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an oppor-
tunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described
property, to wit:
BEGINNING for "a point of reference at the intersection of the west Right -
of -Way Interstate 35 and Brushy Creek said point being a corner of Round

Whereas, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present bound-
aries of the City of Round Rock, Texas; and -
Whereas, all requirements of the laws of the State of Texas and the
Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been complied with; and
Whereas, the territory above described contains 360 acres, more or
less; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Section 1. The following described land and territory lying adjacent
to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, is
hereby added and annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory
hereinafter described shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits
of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present boundary limits of such city,
at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered
and amended so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, to wit:
