AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY (THE
GREENHILL SUBDIVISION) TO THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIANSON
COUNTY, TEXAS AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO
AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE
INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVTLEGES
OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF
THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by
each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described
territory, to wit:
Field Notes describing a portion of the combined land of those
certain tracts or parcels of land situated in Williamson County,
Texas, conveyed to NPC Realty Co., described in deed recorded in
Volume 664, Page 755, a 70.188 acre tract; Volume 679, Page 324,
a 20.867 acre tract; said portion of combined land being 77.376
acres out of the David Curry Survey, Abstract 130, and 0.788
acres out of the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract 298; totaling
78.164 acres of land being more fully described by metes and
bounds as follows:
Beginning for reference at the Southeast corner of the David
Curry Survey, Abstract 130, also being the Northeast corner of

GREENHITL SUBDIVISION) TO THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIAMSON
COUNTY, TEXAS AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO
AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE
INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES
OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF
THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by
each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described
territory, to wit:
Field Notes describing a portion of the combined land of those
certain tracts or parcels of land situated in Williamson County,
Texas, conveyed to NPC Realty Co., described in deed recorded in
Volume 664, Page 755, a 70.188 acre tract; Volume 679, Page 324,
a 20.867 acre tract; said portion of combined land being 77.376
acres out of the David Curry Survey, Abstract 130, and 0.788
acres out of the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract 298, totaling
78.164 acres of land being more fully described by metes and
bounds as follows:
Beginning for reference at the Southeast corner of the David
Curry Survey, Abstract 130, also being the Northeast corner of
the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract 298, as established and shown
on a Plat of Record of Mesa Park, Section Ttao, recorded in Volume
9, Page 38 of the Plat Records of Williamson County, Texas;
Thence S.71 3264.0 feet to an iron pin found in the North
R.O.W. line of County Road No. 125, also being known as Bowman
Road, same being the Southwest corner of a 36 acre tract of land
conveyed to the Texas Baptist Childrens Home by deed recorded in
Voluno 397, Page 506 of the Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas, S.16 ° 48'09 "E., 41.69 feet to a point in the South R.O.W.
line of said County Road, same being the Round Rock City Limits
line, for the Southeast corner hereof and the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING hereof;
Thence along and with the South R.O.W. line of said County Road,
being the South line hereof and the Rou$d Rock City Limits line,
the following five (5) calls: 1.) S.70 y'W., 567.80 feet to an
iron pin found in a fence line; 2.) S.70 5'09 "W., 1081.72 feet
to an angle point in said fence; 3.) S.68 50'33 "W., 249.60 feet
to an angle point in said fence; 4.) S.50 ° 10'29 "W., 61.27 feet
to an angle point in said fence; 5.) S.24 ° 43'48 "W., 80.34 feet
to an angle point in said fence;
Thence N.24 ° 36'42 "E., 118.33 feet to an iron pin found in the
North R.O.W. line of said County Road, same being the North-
eastern most corner of a tract of land conveyed to J. C. Payne
by deed recorded in Volume 522, Page 30 of the Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas;
Thence with the North line of said Payne tract S.69 ° 21'W., 168.59
feet to an iron pin found in the Northwest corner of said Payne
tract;
Thence S.15 ° 43'30 "E., 249.53 feet to an iron pin found in the
North R.O.W. line of County Road 125, same being the Southwest
corner of said Payne tract;
Thence along and with the North R O.W, line of said County Road,
being the South line hereof, S.36�29'40 W., 137.21 feet to an iron
pin found at a point on the Round Rock City Limits, same being the
Southeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to L. L. Daniell by
deed recorded in Volume 416, Page 638 of the Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas, and the Southwest corner hereof;

line of a 92.84 acre tract of land conveyed to BRUSHY SLOPE
Investment Corpiration by deed recorded in Volume 579, Page 480
of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, same being the
Northwest corner hereof;
Thence along a fence, being the South line of said 92.85 acre
tract ann the North line hereof, the following five (5) cads:
1.) N.71 14'E., 188.75 feet to an iron pin Bound; 2.) N.70 56'46 "E.,
1136.28 feet to an iron pin fond; 3.) N.71 13'46 "E., 425.68 feet
to an iron pin o found; 4.) N.71 03'E., 313.64 feet to an iron pin
found; 5.) N.70 50'11 "E., 313.76 feet to an iron pin found, being
in the South line of said 92.85 acre tract and the Northwest
corner of said 36 acre tract, for the Northeast corner hereof;
Thence along a fence, being th8 West line of said 36 acre tract
and the East line hereof, S.16 48'09 "E., 1425.42 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 78.164 acres more or less.
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Round
Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 13th day of
April, 1978, and
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the
sane, the City Council is desirous of granting such petition and of annexing said
territory to the City of Round Rock, Texas;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
Thence with the North line of said Payne tract S. 69 ° 12'W.,
168.59 feet to an iron pin found in the Northwest corner of
said Payne tract;
Thence S.15 ° 43'30 "E., 249.53 feet to an iron pin found in the
North R.O.W. line of County Road 125, same being the Southwest
corner of said Payne tract;
Thence along and with the North R line of said County Road,
being the South line hereof, S.36 "W., 137.21 feet to an
iron pin found at a point on the Round Rock City Limits, same
being the Southeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to L. L.
Daniell by deed recorded in Volume 416, Page 638 of the Deed
Records of Williamson County, Texas, and the Southwest corner
hereof;
Thence along the Round Rock City Limits line, same being the
West line hereof, N.19 ° 08'30 "W., 1754.58 feet to a point in
the South line of a 92.84 acre tract of land conveyed to BRUSHY
SLOPE Investment Corporation by deed recorded in Volume 579,
Page 480 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, same
being the Northwest corner hereof;
Thence along a fence, being the South line of said 92.85 acre
tract ang the North line hereof, the following five (5) calls:
1.) N.71 14'E., 188.75 feet to an iron pin Bound, 2.) N.70 56'46 "E.,
1136.28 feet to an iron pin found; 3.) N.71 13'46 "E., 425.68 feet
to an iron pin Round; 4.) N.71 03'E., 313.64 feet to an iron pin
found; 5.) N.70 50'11 "E., 313.76 feet to an iron pin found, being
in the South line of said 92.85 acre tract and the Northwest
corner of said 36 acre tract, for the Northeast corner hereof;
Thence along a fence, being thS West line of said 36 acre tract
and the East line hereof, S.16 48'09 "E., 1425.42 feet to the
TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 78.164 acres more or less.
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, and that the
boundary limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, be and the same are hereby extended
to include the above described territory within the city limits of the City of Round
Rock, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits
of said city, and said land and the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be
entitled to all right and privileges of other citizens of the City of Round Rock,
Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said city.
The City Secretary is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of
Williamson County, Texas a certified copy of this ordinance.
