AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY ( THE TOM
E. NELSON TRACT; 1.944 ACRES) TO THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIAMSON
COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS
TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS,
AND GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID
PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHT AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING
SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID
CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged
by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following de-
scribed territory, to wit:
FIELD NOTES describing a 1.944 acre tract or parcel of land
out of the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract No. 288, situated in
Williamson,County, Texas, being all of that same tract conveyed
to Tom E. Nelson, Trustee, described in a Deed of Trust recorded
in Volume 164, Page 541 of the Deed Records of said County;
BEGINNING at an iron pipe found at the Northwest corner of
said Nelson tract being in:the East R.O.W. line of Interstate
Highway No. 35;
THENCE N70 43' 30" East, 263.69 feet to an iron pipe found at the
Northeast corner of said Nelson tract;
WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of
Round Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 8th day
of June, 1978, and
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against
the same, the City Council is desirous of granting such petition and of annexing
