" 1 7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE 11.738 ACRES, OUT OF THE JACOB M. HARRELL SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 284,W LLIAMSGN COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM I -2 HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO R -1 SINGTE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. Harrell Survey, Abstract No. 284, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at the Northeast corner of the Jacob M. S03 °19'W, 389.81 feet to a point in Lake Creek for the most Southeast corner hereof; Thence S61 °42'30 "W, 750.31 feet along Lake Creek to a point for the Southwest corner hereof; Thence N09 °W, 792.34 feet along the West line of said combined 20 and 25 acre tract, the West line hereof, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 11.738 acres of land AND WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above described property from I -2 Heavy Industrial District to R-1 Single Family Residential District, after holding a public hearing thereon on the 2nd day of March, 1978; and [AREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission approved the change aforesaid in the Zoning Ordinance; said approval being given by said commission on the 2nd day of March, 1978; NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, that the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, be amended so that the property above described shall be and the same is hereby removed from I -2 Heavy Industrial to R -1 Single Family Residential District.
