ORDINANCE N0. 4 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO DESIGNATE 0.36 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE J. M. HARRELL SUR- VEY, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW, AS AN AREA OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL IMPORTANCE. WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "R -1" Single - family Residential District to "B -1" General Business District on, along with other property, the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property on the condition that it also be designated an area of historical and cultural importance, and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: That the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof shall be and the same is hereby designated an area of historical and cultural importance, pursuant to Sec. 13 of the Zoning Ordinance. (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. Harrell Survey, Abstract No. 284, in Williamson County, Texas, and being part of a tract conveyed to Russell Koontz from C.B. Estes et ux recorded in Volume 437, Page 303 and from Bennie T. Bustin recorded in Volume 525, Page 487, Deed Records of William- son County, Texas; said 0.36 acre tract of land, more or less, being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point for the Northeast corner hereof said point also being the Northeast corner of the Russel Koontz 6.773 acre tract; THENCE S 87 ° 39'27" W, 148 feet to a point; THENCE S 19 E, 106 feet to a point; THENCE N 87 ° 39'27" E, 148 feet to a point; THENCE N 19 W, 106 feet to a point being the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 0.36 acres more or less.
