AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED
BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND
DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING
THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO
CHANGE 3.673 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE WILEY HARRIS SURVEY,
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "R -1" SINGLE
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO "R -2" MULTI - FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT, AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "R -1"
Single Family Residential District to "R -2" Multi- Family Residential District on
the property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning
Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and
report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing
of said Zoning Ordinance on the above- described property from "R -1" Single -
Family Residential District to "R -2" Multi- Family Residential District, after
holding a public hearing thereon on the 16th day of November, 1978, that the
Zoning Ordinance be amended so that the above - described property be changed from
"R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "R -2" Multi- Family Residential District;
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance con-
cerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied
with, now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
That the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, Texas,
be amended so that the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made
a part hereof shall be and the same is hereby removed form "R -1" Single - Family
Residential District to "R -2" Multi- Family Residential District.
That this Ordinance shall become effective upon the owner requesting a building
permit for the construction of a nursing home.
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the
Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate
days was dispensed with.

Field Notes 3.673 Acre "160,003 sq. ft." Tract of Land out of the Wiley Harris
Survey in Williamson County, Texas, said tract of land being out of an apportion of
that certain 122.50 Acre tract having been conveyed to Mesa Park Corporation in Volume
547, page 92 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas and being more particular-
ly described by meets and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the most northeast corner of lot no. 16 and block no. 11 in Mesa
Park Section Two, a sub - division being recorded in Volume 9, pages 38 and 39 of the
Plat Records of Williamson County Texas;
Thence, the following four courses,
1. South 84° and 2 minutes southwest for a distance of 372.25 ft. to an iron
pin found.
2 North 19° and 48 minutes northwest for a distance 270.06 ft. to an iron
pin found.
3. An arch 31.42 ft. along a curve to the right, whose elements are I equals
90.00, T equals 20.00 and R equals 20.00 ft. and whose cord bears north
25° and 12 minutes east for a distance of 28.28 ft to an iron pin that's
found.
4. North 19° 48 minutes west for a distance of 15.00 ft. to an iron pin that's
found on a right of way line of Bowman Road. Thence along the west line of
a county road south 0° and 9 minutes east for a distance of 423.78 ft. to
an iron pin that's found. Thence 89 and 51 minutes west for a distance of
15.00 ft. to a paint of beginning. Containing 3.673 Acres of land.
