ORDINANCE NO. /65
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY (SUNRISE
VISTA SECTION 2 AND CERTAIN ADJACENT TRACTS, 8.658 ACRES) TO THE
CITY OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID
TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF
THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID
FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID
CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged
by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described
territory, to wit:
BEING 8.658 acres of land adjacent to the North City Limits of
Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas, said tract being 0.802
acres out of the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract No. 298 and
7.856 acres out of the David Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130,
said tract also consisting of the following tracts: all Sunrise
Vista, Section Two, a county subdivision recorded in Cab. C,
Slide 39 of the Plat Records of said County; all of that tract
conveyed to Wm. R. Kitts, recorded in Volume 676, Page 518 of the
Deed Records of said County; all of that tract conveyed to Edwin
H. Brinegar, recorded in Volume 580, Page 743 of said Deed Records;
all of County Road No. 125, also known as Bowman Road, lying
South of and adjacent to said subdivision;
BEGINNING at the intersection point of the South margin of said
Bagman Road and the West margin of County Road No. 115, also
krown as Sunrise Road, being the Southeast corner hereof and the
Northeast corner of a tract conveyed to Mesa Park Corp. recorded
in Volume 547, Page 92 of said Deed Records;

WHEREAS, said tract of land is contiguous and adjacent to the City of Round
Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 13th day
of July, 1978,
WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against
the same, the City Council is desirous of granting such petition and of annexing
said territory to the City of Round Rock, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
That the following described property, to wit:
BEING 8.658 acres of land adjacent to the North City Limits of

to inlcude the above described territory within the city limits of the City of Round
Rock, Texas, and the same shall hereafter be included within the territorial limits
of said city, and said land and the future inhabitants thereof shall hereafter be en-
titled to all rights and privileges of other citizens of the City of Round Rock,
Texas, and shall be bound by the acts and ordinances of said city.
The City Secretary is hereby directed to file with the County Clerk of
Williamson County, Texas, a certified copy of this ordinance.

the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two sepa-

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY (SUNRISE
VISTA SECTION 2 AND CERTAIN ADJACENT TRACTS, 8.658 ACRES) TO THE
CITY OF ROUND ROCK, WILLIAMSDN COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY 50 AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS, AND GRANTING TO SAID
TERRITORY AND TO ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF
THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING SAID
FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES OF THE SAID
CITY.
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged
by each and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described
