OF 60.6 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS. WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas where all interested persons were pro- vided with an opportunity to be "heard on the proposed annexation of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, was held on the 12 day of October , 19 78 , which date is not more than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the institution of annexation proceedings; and WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas on the 28 day of September , 19 78, which date is not more than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing; and WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas; and WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been com- plied with, and WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 60.6 acres; now therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit "A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying adjacent to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas is hereby added and annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory hereinafter described shall hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present boundary limits of such city, at the various points con- tiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered and amended so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas.. Section 2. The above described territory and the area sd annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
