AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF 4.642 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES
ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the
City of Round Rock, Texas where all interested persons were pro-
vided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation
of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made
a part hereof, was held on the llth day of January 1979 ,
which date is not more than twenty days nor less than ten days
prior to the institution of annexation proceedings; and
WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a
newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round Rock,
Texas on the 28th day of December , 1978 , which date is
not more than twenty nor less than ten days prior to the date of
such public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present
boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas; and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of Texas
and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been com-
plied with, and
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 4.642 acres;
now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit "A ",
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying adjacent to
and adjoining the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock,
Texas is hereby added and annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas,
and said territory hereinafter described shall hereafter be included
within the boundary limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
the present boundary limits of such city, at the various points con-
tiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered and amended
,.so as to- include said area. within the corporate= limits of the- City;`__
of Round Rock, Texas..
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so
annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
the inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all of
the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be
bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of
the City of Round Rock, Texas.

Field Notes describing a 4.642 acre tract or parcel of land out of
the David Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130, as recorded in Volume 734,
Page 342 of the Williamson County Deed Records, situated in Williamson
County, Texas, and also being out of the Northwest corner of that .
original 169.43 acre tract conveyed to Theron Bradford described in
a deed recorded in Volume 574, Page 390 of the Deed Records of said
County, said 4.642 acre tract being more fully described by metes and
bounds as follows:
Beginning at a concrete highway monument found in the East right -of-
way of I.H. 35, being the Northwest corner hereof and said Bradford
Tract and the Southwest corner of a 20.049 acre tract conveyed to
M.K.M. Properties, Inc., described as Tract Two in a -deed recorded in
Volume 685, Page 712 of said Deed Records;
THENCE N79 °31'30 "E, 655.88 feet along the Bradford North line, the
M.K.M. Properties, Inc. South line being the North line hereof, as
fenced, to an iron pin set for the Northeast corner hereof, being at
the Point of Intersection of said fence and the center line of a
sewer line situated in an easement granted to the City of Round Rock
described in a deed recorded in Volume 706, Page 846 of said Deed
Records;
THENCE S11 °28'30 "E, 295.71 feet along said center line to an iron
pin set for the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE S79 °31'30 "W, 711.80 feet to an iron pin set in the aforesaid
East right -of -way line of I.H. . 35 for the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE N00 ° 44'W, 300.00 feet along said East right -of -way line, being
the West line hereof and said Bradford Tract to the Point of Beginning
of this described tract containing 4.642 acres of land more or less.

certify that these field notes and attached plat accurately represent
the results of an on- the - ground survey made under my direction and
