AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED
AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A
PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE
4.13 ACRES,'LOT 3, ROUND BOCK WEST SECTION III REVISED,
OUT OF THE JACOB M. HARRELL SURVEY, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS,
AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "I -2" HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
TO "B -1" GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT , AS
HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of amending the
Zoning Ordinance from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District
to "B -1" General Business District on the
property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof, and
WHEREAS, the City.Council has submitted the proposed change in
the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for
its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved
the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property
from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District

"B -1" General Business District , after holding
a public hearing thereon on the 21st day of December
19 78, that the Zoning Ordinance be amended so that the above- described
property be changed from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District
to "B -1" General Business District ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning
Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters .
have been fully complied with, now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
That the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof shall be and the
same is hereby removed from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District
to "B -1" General Business District
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.
