AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED
AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A
PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE
3.00 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE Wiley Harris
SURVEY, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS
DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "R -1" Single Family Residential District
T O "R =2" Multi Family Residential District , AS
HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of amending the
Zoning Ordinance from "R -1" Single Family Residential District
to "R -2" Multi- Family Residential District on the
property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in
the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for
its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved
the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property
from "R -1" Single Family Residential District to
"R -2" Multi Family Residential District
, after holding
a public hearing thereon on the l5th day of February
19 79 , that the Zoning Ordinance be amended so that the above - described
property be changed from "R -1" Single Family Residential District
to "R -2" Multi Family Residential District ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning
Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters
have been fully complied with, now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
That the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof shall be and the
same is hereby removed from "R -1" Single Family Residential District
to "R -2" Multi Family Residential District
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

Field notes for a tract of 3.00 acres situated upon the Wiley Harris Survey,
A-298 in Williamson County, Texas; and also being out of and a part of that
tract described as containing 20.09 acres in a deed from Johanna Genevieve Rister,
et vir to Hoard Leon Peterson et ux dated June 1, 1977 and recorded in Vol. 672,
page 488, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas.
Beginning at an iron stake found marking the SW corner of the above mentioned
Peterson 20.09 acre tract, said point also being the VW corner of .a tract described
as containing 50.00 acres in a deed from E. B. Burklund to Round Rock Independent
School District, recorded in Vol. 503, page 491, Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas; said stake also being in the East margin of Cushing Street, which bounds this
tract along the West; said stake also being about 1.0 ft. South and about 0.6 ft.
West of a railroad tie corner post in a new wire fence; for the SW corner hereof.
Thence proceeding along the West line of said Peterson 20.09 acre tract and the
East margin of said Cushing Street, N 02 deg. 11' W 260.00 ft. to an iron stake set
in said line, said stake bearing S 02 deg. 11' Fa from an iron stake found beside a
fence corner post in the West line of said 20.09 acre tract at a turn in said 1;est
