O-79-603 - 3/22/1979ORDINANCE NO. 6M 3 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE 5.633 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE JACOB M. HARRELL SURVEY, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "R -1" SINGLE- FAMILY RESTDETTTAT. 3ISTRICT TO "B -1" GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT , AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "R -1" Single- family Residential District to "B -1" General Business District on the property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, the City.Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property from "R -1" Single- family Residential District to "B -1" General Business District , after holding a public hearing thereon on the 18th day of January 19 79 , that the Zoning Ordinance be amended so that the above - described property be changed from "R -1" Single- family Residential District to "B -1" General Business District ; and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: That the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof shall be and the same is hereby removed from "R -1" Single - family RASi_dopria1 District to "B -1" General Business District (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.) By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for . reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. Harrell Survey, Abstract No. 284, in Williamson County, Texas, part of a tract conveyed to C.B. Estes in Vol. 436, Page 484, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground in August of 1978, under the direction of W.F. Forest, Registered Public Surveyor No. 101. BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of the above referenced tract in the center of Brushy Creek.
