() // AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE 1.1 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, SAME BEING A PORTION OF LOT 7 OF ROUND ROCK WEST 3 (REVISED) , DESCRIBED BELOW FROM"I -2" HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, TO "B -1" GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT , AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City. Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District to "B -1" General Business District on the property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District to "B -1" General Business District holding a public hearing thereon on the 19th day of April 19 79, that the Zoning Ordinance be amended so that the above- described property be changed from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District to "B -1" General Business District to "B -1" General Business District ; and , after WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters has been fully complied with, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: That the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof shall be and the same is hereby removed from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. ONN, MAYOR City of Round Rock, Texas EXHIBIT "A" FIELD NOTES FOR ROUND ROCK WEST SECTION 3 - TRACT C: 1.1 acres of land, more or less, same being out of and a part of Lot 7 of the Round stock West Section 3 (Revised) Subdivision, which 1.1 acres of land, more or less, are more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin found at the northeast corner of said Lot 7 being also the northwest corner of Lot 2 of said Round Rock West Section 3 (Revised) Subdivision; THENCE with the east line hereof, South 43° 18' West, 388.67 feet to a point; THENCE with the south line hereof, North 54° 50' West, 126.17 feet to a point; THENCE with the west line hereof along a curve to the left whose radius is 508.77 feet and whose long chord bears North 25° 05' East for a distance of 178.15 feet to an iron pin found at a point of tangency; North 15 00' East for a distance of 108.94 feet to an iron pin found at a point of curve to the right; With said curve to the right whose central angle is 90 °, radius is 15.00 feet and whose long chord bears North 60° 00' East for a distance of 21.21 feet to an iron pin found for a point of tangency in the south R.O.W. line of Round Rock West Drive for the most northerly Northwest corner hereof; THENCE, with the south R.O.W. line of Round Rock West Drive the following 2 calls: South 75° 00' East for a distance of 225.92 feet to an iron pin found at a point of curve to the right; With said curve to the right whose central angle is 47° 16', radius is 770.05 feet and whose sub chord bears South 73° 52' East for a distance of 30.58 feet to an iron pin found at the Northeast corner of the above described Lot 7 being also the Northwest corner of Lot 2 of the above described Round Rock West Sec. 3 (Revised) for the Northeast corner hereof (and POINT OF BEGINNING) and containing 1.1 acres of land, more or less.
