"G;2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL -- ZONING MAP AS ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2.E.(2) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP: TO CHANGE 2.5 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE JACOB M. HARRELL SURVEY, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "I -2" HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "I -1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission was requested to undertake a comprehensive study of certain tracts located in Round Rock West Section III, for possible zoning classification changes, and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has completed its study and has made its recommendations to the Council for various changes, and WHEREAS, one of the tracts under study is a tract described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof for all pur- poses, and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Official Zoning Map on the above - described property from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District to "I -1" Light In- dustrial District, after holding a public hearing thereon on the 4th day of April, 1979, and the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved and recommended to the. City Council on the 5th day of May, 1979, that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the above - described property be changed from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District to "I -1" Light Industrial District; and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Code of Ordinances concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: That the Official Zoning Map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof shall be and the same is hereby re- moved from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District to "I -1" Light Industrial District. (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. T , May City of Round Rock, Texas EXHIBIT "A" FIELD NOTES FOR ROUND ROCK WEST SECTION 3 (REVISED) - TRACT I: 2.5 acres of land, more or less, same being out of and a part of the Jacob M. Harrell Survey in the City of Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas, which 2.5 acres of land, more or less, are more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING for reference at a point located in the north right -of -way line of McNeil Road, said point also being the southeast corner of Lot 4 of the Round Rock West Section 3 (Revised) Subdivision; THENCE North 43° 45' East, 785.31 feet to a point; THENCE North 00 08' West, 39.34 feet to a point of curve to the right; THENCE with said curve to the right whose chord bears North 77° 33' West for a distance of 512.00 feet, more or less, to a point in the east line of Lot 4 of the Round Rock West Section 3 (Revised) Subdivision; THENCE with said east line South 21° 53' East to a point in the north right -of-way line of McNeil Road, said point also being the southeast corner of Lot 4 of the Round Rock West Section 3 (Revised) Subdivision and the POINT OF BEGINNING, and containing 2.5 acres of land, more or less.
