AN ORDINANCE AMENDING - THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS
ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, - TEXAS, AND
MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING
MAP: TO CHANCE 11.88 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF
THE JACOB M. HARRELL SURVEY, WILLIA4SON COUNTY, TEXAS,
AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN EXHIBIT "A" FROM "I -2" HEAVY IN-
DUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "B -1" GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT;
AND TO CHANGE 27.62 ACRES, MORE 02 LESS, OUT OF THE
JACOB M. HARRELL SURVEY, NILLIAMSCN COUNTY, TEXAS,
AS DESCRIBED BELOW IN EXHIBIT "0" FRO:i "I -2" HEAVY
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO "I -1" LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT,
ALL AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH.
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission was requested
to undertake a comprehensive study of certain tracts located in
Pound Rock West, Section III, and certain other unsubdivided
property, for possible zoning classification changes, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has completed
its study and has made its recommendations to the Council for
various changes, and
WHEREAS, two of the tracts under study are described in
Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof for
all purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved
the changing of said Official Zoning Map on the property described
in Exhibit "A" from "I.2" Heavy Industrial District to "B -1"
General Business District, and on the property described in Exhibit
"B" from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District to "I -1" Light Industrial
District, after holding a public hearing thereon on the 4th day
of April, 1979, and the City Planning and Zoning Commission has
approved and recommended to the City Council on the 5th day of
May, 1979, that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the
property described in Exhibit "A" be changed from "1 -2" Heavy In-
dustrial District to "B -1 ", General Business District and that
the property described in Exhibit "B" be changed from "I -2 ", Heavy
Industrial District to "I -1 ", Light Industrial District; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Code
of Ordinances concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural
matters have been fully complied with, now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT,
I.
The Official Zoning Map of the City .f..Round.Rock, Texas, be
amended so that the property described in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof shall be, and the same is hefeby
removed and changed from "I.2 ", Heavy Industrial 1District to
"B -1 ", General Business District.
II.
The Official Zoning Map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, be
amended so that the property described in Exhibit "B" attached
hereto and made a part hereof shall be, and ,the same is hereby
removed and changed from "I -2" Heavy Industrial District to "I -1"
Light Industrial District.
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable)

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

11.88 acres of land, more or less, same being that certain portion of Lot 1
and that certain portion of Lot 6 of the Round Rock West Section 3 (Revised)
Subdivision in Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas, which 11.88 acres of
land, more or less, are more particularly described by metes and bounds as

BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at a point being the southernmost corner of said
