AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A
PART OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY AN-
NEXED PROPERTY TO -WIT:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing perma-
nent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ",
attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed desig-
nation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission
for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 21st
day of June , 19 79 , held a public hearing to consider
the designation of permanent zoning for the above- described property,
and has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 21st
day of June , 19 79 , that the Official Zoning Map be
amended so that the above- described property be given a permanent
zoning designation of "B -2" Local Business District; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes
of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural
matters have been fully complied with;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the
same is permanently zoned "B -2" Local Business District
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading
this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

EXHIBIT "A"
Commencing for reference at an iron stake in the east right of way line of
East Frontage Road of Interstate Highway #35 for the Southwest corner of a
3.15 acre tract of land out of the Wiley Harris Survey in Williamson County,
Texas, as described in a deed from Elmer Hester, et ux, to Sinclair Refining
Company as recorded in Volume 477, Page 632, Williamson County Deed Records,
said 3.15 acre tract being a portion of a 22.0 acre tract described in a deed
from Jessie Christofferson, et al, to Elmer Hester as recorded in Volume 236,
Page 523, Williamson County Deed Records; Thence N 78° 41' E 405.0' to an
iron pin found; Thence N 18° 25' W 284.72' to an iron pin set for the begin-
ning and southeast corner of the herein described tract;
THENCE N 18° 25' W 133.26' to an iron pipe found in the south line of U.S.
Highway #79;
THENCE S 79° 58' W 103.16' with the south line of U.S. Highway #79 to an iron
pipe found;
THENCE S 18° 01' W 149.58' with the east line of said 3.15 acre Sinclair tract
to an iron pin set;
THENCE N 79° 58' E 192.98' to the place of beginning, containing 19,543 Sq. Ft.
or 0.449 acres of land, more or less.
