ORDINANCE NO. /1.5
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSTION OF CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF 100.00 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY
LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an
opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the property de-
scribed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, was held on
, 19 80 , which date is not more
than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the institution of annexa-
tion proceedings; and
WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper
having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas, on the 27th
day of December , 19 79 , which date is not more than twenty nor less
than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present
boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas; and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of Texas and
the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been complied with;
and
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 100.00 acres;
now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying adjacent to and
adjoining the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, is
hereby added and annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, and said terri-
tory hereinafter described shall hereafter be included within the boundary
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present boundary limits
of such city, at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter
described, are altered and amended so as to include said area within the
corporate limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so
annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the
inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all of the rights
and privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound by the acts,
ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of Round Rock,
Texas.

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading
this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES FOR JOHN H. HASH, J
Field Notes describing a 100.00 acre tract or parcel of land out of the
Ephraim Evans Survey, Abstract No. 212 situated in Williamson County,
Texas, and also being out of Tracts One nd Two conveyed to John H.
Nash, Jr., described in a deed recorded in Volume 458, Page 26 of the
Deed Records of said County, said 100.00 acres being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin found at the present southwest corner of said
Nash Tract in the East right -of -way line of IH 35, being the Southwest
corner hereof and the Northwest corner of a 1.86 acre tract conveyed to
Williamson County for additional right -of - way to Chandler Road (County
Road #114) described in a deed recorded in Volume , Page of
said Deed Records;
THENCE the following three (3) courses along the East right -of -way line
of said IH 35: 1) N22 ° 49'10 "W, 350.28 feet to a concrete right -of -way
marker at the beginning of a curve to the right; 2) 398.84 feet along
the arc of said curve having a radius of 1102.05 feet and a chord
bearing and distance of N12 °27'05 "W, 396.67 feet to a concrete
right -of -way marker at the Point of Tangency of said curve; 3)
NO2 ° 05'W, 627.60 feet to an iron pin set for the Northwest corner
hereof;
THENCE N69 ° 16'15 "E, 3124.01 feet along the North line hereof to an iron
pin set for the Northeast corner hereof, being 100.0 feet westerly of
the present East line, as fenced, of the aforementioned Tract One;
THENCE southerly 100.0 feet west of and parallel to said East line,
S16 ° 38'15 "E, 965.66 feet to an iron pin set and S16 ° 32'40 "E, 375.07
feet to an iron pin set in the North line of said 1.86 acres for the
Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE 569 ° 16'50 "W, 3272.75 feet along the North line of said 1.86 acre
tract to the POINT OF BEGINNING of this described tract containing
100.0 acres of land more or less.
