AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART
OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent
zoning of newly annexed 'property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation
of permanent zoning to the City Planning and. Zoning Commission for its
recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 21st
day of February , 19 80, held a public hearing to consider the
designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and
has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 21st day of
February , 19 80, that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that
the above- described property be given a permanent zoning designation of
"B -1" General Business District ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes
of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round
Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been
fully complied with; -
NQW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned
"R - 1" Single- family Residential District
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded, and passed with an affirmative
Vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this
ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

Being 3.325 acres of land, more or less, out of and a part of the Wiley Harris
Survey, situtated in the City of Round Rock, Williamson County, Texas,said 3.325
acre tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning for reference at a steel pin set at a fence corner at the northeast corner
of that certain 6.018 acre tract of land conveyed to J.R. Killen by deed of record
in Volume 402, Page 655 of the Williamson County, Texas Deed records, said point
also being at the intersection of the south margin of Sunset Drive and the west
margin of Summit Street;
THENCE S. 19 °05'E, 250.00 feet along the West margin of said Summit Street to a
point for the true POINT OF BEGINNING, hereof;
THENCE S. 85 °44'W, 504.70 feet to a point in the east margin of I.H. 35 for the most
northerly northwest corner hereof;
THENCE 5. 11 ° 42'E, 346.16 feet, more or less, to a point in the approximate center-
line of Brushy Creek;
THENCE downstream with said approximate center line 5.83°06'E,315.54 feet to a point;
THENCE N. 04 ° 11'W, 251.54 feet to a point;
