O-80-649 - 3/27/1980ORDINANCE NO. &`l`7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMEND- ING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE 0.812 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE JACOB M. HARRELL SURVEY, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM "R -1" SINGLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO "B -2" LOCAL BUSINESS DISTRICT , AS HEREINAFTER SET FORTH. WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from "R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District on the property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property from "R -1" Single- Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District after holding a public hearing thereon on the 20th day of March 19 80, that the Zoning Ordinance be amended so that the above- described property be changed from "R -1" Single - Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District ; and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance concerning notices; hearings, and other procedural matters has been fully complied with, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: That the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof shall be and the same is hereby removed from "R -1" Single- Family Residential District to "B -2" Local Business District (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.) M. Harrell Survey, Abstract No. 284, situated in Williamson County, Texas, also being out of that 13 -7/8 acre tract described as Forth Tract to Bernard G. Barber in a deed recorded in Volume 387, Page 167 of the Deed Records of said County. BEGINNING at an iron pin set at the intersection point of a projection of a fence along the occupied South line of said Barber Tract, being the North margin of a sixteen (16) foot wide lane, and a projection of a fence along the East line of said Barber Tract, being the West line of the J. M.
