AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND. MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART
OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent
zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation
of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its
recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 20th
day of November , 19 80 , held a public hearing to consider the
designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and
has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 20th day of
November , 1980, that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that
the above- described property be given a permanent zoning designation of
"I -1" Light Industrial District ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes
of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round
Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been
fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned
"I - 1" Light Industrial District
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)

ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

A 31.362 acre tract or parcel of land, out of the David
Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130, situated in Williamson
County, Texas, being a portion of that certain 169.43
acre Tract One conveyed to Theron Bradford by Deed re-
corded in Volume 574, Page 390, of the Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas, and being more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at a concrete highway monument
found in the East right -of -way line of Interstate Highway
35, at the Southwest corner of said 169.43 acre tract, also
being the Southwest corner of that certain 55.57 acres cov-
veyed by Bradford to B. J. Hughes by deed recorded in Volume
706, Page 851 of said Deed Records; thence along said East
right -of -way line of Interstate Highway 35, being the West
line of said Hughes tract, N05 ° 48'W, 718.69 feet and N71 ° 06'E,
1020.00 feet to an iron pin set in the North line of said
Hughes treact for the Southwest corner and POINT OF BEGIN-
NING of the hereinafter described 31.362 acre tract of land;
THENCE departing said Hughes North line, along the West line
hereof, N11 ° 30'W, 605.04 feetto an iron pin set for the
Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE along the North line hereof, N71 ° 06'E, 2026.32 feet
to an iron pin set in the East line of said 169.43 acres for
the most Northerly Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE along the East line of said 169.43 acres, for the East
line hereof, the following three courses:
1) S20 ° 35'E, 85.88 feet to an iron pin set by a fence
corner post for an ell corner hereof;
2) N71 34E, 242.58 feet to an iron pin set by a fence corner
post for the most EasCerly Northeast corner hereof;
3) S19 ° 22'E, 512.20 feet to a point being the Northeast
corner of said Hughes' tract, for the Southeast corner hereof;

Quite a number of comments were
received on § 570.513(e), which
prescribes a 45 day time limit on the
start of use of deposited funds. -
Commenters requested that the time
limit be extended to 50 or 90 days. The
45 day limit was prescribed by statute in
Section 104(i)(1) of the Housing and
Community Development Action of 1974,
as amended b'y the 1977 Act (Pub. L 95-
128) and cannot be amended by
regulation.
Several comments on § 570.513(1)
related to a lump sum deposit made by
the block grant recipient for the purpose
