AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART
OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent
zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation
of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its
recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 5th
day of March , 1981 , held a public hearing to consider the
designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and
has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 5th day of
March , 1981 , that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that
the above- described property be given a permanent zoning designation of
"R - 2" Multi - family Residential District ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes
of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round
Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been
fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Round !jock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned
"R -2" Multi - family Residential District
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded, and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this
ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES OF 0.49 ACRES
EXHIBIT "A"
FIELD NOTES describing a 0.49 acre triangular- shaped tract of land out
of the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract No. 298, situated in Williamson
County, Texas, being all of that certain tract conveyed to J. C. Payne
by deed recorded in Volume 522, Page 30 of the Deed Records of William-
son County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the North right -of -way line of Old Bowman Road
(County Road No. 125) for the most Southerly corner and POINT OF BEGIN-
NING of the hereinafter described 0.49 acre tract of land;
THENCE along the West line hereof, N16 ° 30'W, 250.0 feet to a point in
or near the North line of said Wiley Harris Survey, for the Northwest
corner hereof;
THENCE along the North line hereof, N68 ° 40'E, 169.5 feet to a point in
said Old Bowman Road, being a Southerly corner of Greenhill, Section
One, as shown on a Plat of Record in Cabinet D, Slide 33 -34 of the Plat
Records of said County, for the Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE along the Southeast line hereof, being the North line of said
Old Bowman Road, S15 ° 34'W, 313.6 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the
herein described tract of land, containing 0.49 acres of land more or
less.
