O-81-666 - 4/23/1981ORDINANCE NO. 6/06 AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED PROPERTY TO -WIT WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 16th day of April , 1981 , held a public hearing to consider the designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 23rd day of April , 1981 , that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the above - described property be given a permanent zoning designation of "B - 1" General Business District ; and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes . of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT: An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part shall be and the same is permanently zoned "B = 1" General Business District (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded, and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. day of READ, PASSED, and ADOPTED on first reading this Alternative 2. N. Delancey by R. R. Stolley and wife by deed dated the 16th day of April, A.D. 1947, which is of record in Volume 340, Page 519, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, and being further described as follows: BEGINNING at the S.E. corner of that tract of 63 acres of land, more or less, which was conveyed to R. R. Stolley by Molly Asher, et. al., by deed dated January 10th, 1945, . which is of record in Volume 326, Page 466, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, same being also the S.E. corner of the aforesaid thirty (30) acre tract of land, and is the S.E. corner hereof; THENCE N. 21° W., with the East line of said 63 acre tract, being also the East line of the above mentioned thirty (30) acre tract, 163.16 varas, to the N.E. corner of this tract hereby conveyed; THENCE westerly, parallel to the South line of the aforesaid 63 and 30 acre tracts, S. 70° 30' W., 320.13 varas to corner in the west line of said 30 acre tract, conveyed to Delancey, being also the East line of Old State Highway No. 2, now.
