AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 2.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART
OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent
zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation
of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its
recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 20th
day of August , 1981 , held a public hearing to consider the
designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and
has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 20th day of
August , 1981 , that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that
the above- described property be given a permanent zoning designation of
"I -1" Light Industrial District ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes
of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round
Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been
fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned
"I -1" Light Industrial District
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded, and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this
ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

EXHIBIT "A"
FIELD NOTES describing an 8.822 acre tract or parcel of land, out of
the David Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130, situated in Williamson Coun-
ty, Texas, being a portion of the remainder of that certain 169.43 acre
tract conveyed to Theron Bradford by deed recorded in Volume 574, Page
390 of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at a concrete highway monument found in the
East right -of -way line of Interstate Highway 35, at the Southwest cor-
ner of said 169.43 acre tract, also being the Southwest corner of that
certain 55.57 acre tract conveyed by Bradford to BJ- HUGHES, INC., by
deed recorded in Volume 706, Page 851 of said Deed Records; thence
along said East right -of -way line of Interstate Highway 35, being the
West line of said Hughes tract, N05 ° 48'W, 718.69 feet to an iron pin
found at the Northwest corner of said Hughes tract, for the Southwest
corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter described 8.822 acre
tract;
THENCE continuing along said East right -of -way line, for the West line
hereof, the following two (2) courses:
1) N05 ° 48'W, 161.26 feet to a concrete highway monument found, for an
angle point hereof;
2) N00 ° 40'30 "W, 455.80 feet to a point for the Northwest corner here-
of;
THENCE departing said East right -of -way line, along the North line
hereof, being the South line of a prpposed sixty (60) foot wide road-
way, the following four (4) courses:
1) along the arc of a curve to the right having elements of delta =
89 ° 56'30 ", radius = 20.00 feet, arc = 31.40 feet, tangent = 19.98 feet,
chord and chord bearing = 28.27 feet, N44 ° 17'45 "E, to a Point of Tan-
gency hereof;
2) N89 ° 16'E, 4.30 feet to a Point of Curvature hereof;
3) along the arc of a curve to the left having elements of delta =
18 ° 10', radius = 630.00 feet, arc = 199.75 feet, tangent = 100.72 feet,
chord and chord bearing = 198.92 feet, N80 ° 11'E, to a Point of Tangency
hereof;
4) N71 ° 06'E, 381.83 feet to an iron pin found for the Northeast corner
hereof;
THENCE along the East line hereof, S11 ° 30'E, 574.79 feet to an iron pin
found in the North line of said Hughes 55.57 acre tract for the South-
east corner hereof;
THENCE along the North line of said Hughes tract, for the South line
hereof, S71 ° 06'W, 712.65 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein
described tract, containing 8.822 acres of land more or less.
