O-81-689 - 10/22/1981AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE "ZONING ORDINANCE" PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ON THE 2ND DAY OF OCTOBER, 1969, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE MAP AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE MAP OF THE ORIGINAL ORDINANCE: TO CHANGE 4.30 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE P.A. HOLDER SURVEY, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED BELOW FROM DISTRICT R -1 LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO DISTRICT C -1 COMMERCIAL on the property, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed change in the Zoning Ordinance to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission has approved the changing of said Zoning Ordinance on the above - described property from District R -1 Low Density Residential to District C -1 Commercial WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Coun- cil of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of amending the Zoning Ordinance from District R -1 Low Density Residential to District C -1 Commercial ORDINANCE NO. 60 after holding a public hearing thereon on the 15th day of October , 19 81 , that the Zoning Ordinance be amended so that the above- described property be changed from District R -1 Low Density Residential District C -1 Commercial ; and to WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that substan- tial changes in conditions have occurred which justify the change of zoning classification provided for herein, and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the Zoning Ordinance concerning notices, hearings, and other pro- cedural matters has been fully complied with, now therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: 619 a rruhitiv;y � , o- 42- a arncc, 3� acA-40) That the Zoning Ordinance and the zoning map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, be amended so that the property de- scribed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof shall be and the same is hereby removed from District R -1 Low Density Residential to District C -1 Commercial (Mark through the following alternative that is not appli- cable) Alternative 1. Holder Survey, Abstract No. 297, in Williamson County, Texas; said land being a portion of that certain 6.66 acre tract conveyed by dded from Kimbro Trucking Co., Inc. to Y. M. Kimbrol, of record in Volume 553, Page 50, of the Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground under the supervision of Don H. Bizzell, Registered Public Surveyor, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin set near a fence corner, in the North margin of U.S. Highway No. 79, at the S.E. corner of the said 6.66 acre tract for the S.E. corner hereof; THENCE, S 81 18' W, 401.52 feet along U.S. 79 to an iron pin set; THENCE, N 44 52' W, 89.13 feet to an iron pin set in the East margin of Farm -to- Market Road No. 1460; THENCE, N 22° 30' E, 500.42 feet along F.M. 1460 to an iron pin set on the Round Rock City Limit line for the N.W. corner hereof; THENCE, N 81 18' E, 265.01 feet along the said City Limit line to a point on the east line of the said 6.66 acre tract for the N.E. corner hereof; THENCE, S 0 43' E, 504.89 feet, following a fence along the East line of the said 6.66 acre tract, to the place of BEGINNING and containing 4.30 acres of land.
