AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF 63.70 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY
LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, a public hearing before the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an
opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the property de-
scribed in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, was held on
the 13th day of August
, 19 81 , which date is not more
than twenty days nor less than ten days prior to the institution of annexa-
tion proceedings; and
WHEREAS, notice of such public hearing was published in a newspaper
having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas, on the 27th
day of July , 1981 , which date is not more than twenty nor less
than ten days prior to the date of such public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present
boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas; and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of Texas and
the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been complied with;
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 63.70 acres;
now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
"A",
which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying adjacent to and
adjoining the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, is
hereby added and annexed to the City of Round Rock, Texas, and said terri-
tory hereinafter described shall hereafter be included within the boundary
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present boundary limits
of such city, at the various points contiguous to the area hereinafter
described, are altered and amended so as to include said area within the
corporate limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so
annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the
inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all of the rights
and privileges of all the citizens and shall be bound by the acts,
ordinances, resolutions and regulations of the City of Round Rock,
Texas.

vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading

FIELD NOTES OF 63.70 ACRES (PARCEL "H ")
FIELD NOTES describing a 63.70 acre tract or parcel of land, being
22.51 acres out of the Wiley Harris Survey, Abstract No. 298 and 41.19
acres out of the P. A. Holder Survey, Abstract No. 297, situated in
Williamson County, Texas, and being comprised and consisting of all or
part of the following six (6) tracts as described and recorded in the
Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas, in the Volumes and Pages
shown:
1) a portion of Georgetown Street shown as Parcel E conveyed to the
State of Texas as described in Volume 6, Page 549 of the Civil Minutes
of the County Court of said County;
2) all of that certain 15 foot by 220 foot strip on the South side of
U. S. Highway 79, being a roadside park of the State of Texas;
3) all of the remainder of that certain tract conveyed to Oscar Stark
by deed in Volume 357, Page 279;
4) all of that certain 2 acres as described in a deed in Volume 117,
Page 387;
5) a portion of that certain 43 acres conveyed to the Lutheran Welfare
Society by deed in Volume 298, Page 549;
6) a portion of that certain 20.089 acres originally conveyed to Al
Hughes by deed in Volume 565, Page 624; said six (6) tracts combined
containing 63.70 acres, and being more particularly described by metes
and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point being the intersection of the centerline of Brushy
Creek and the West right -of -way line of Georgetown Street, said point
being the Southwest corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter
