AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3,
SUBSECTIONS C(43) AND 0(1)(d) TO PROVIDE FOR
A PARKING SPACE OF ONE HUNDRED SIXTY -TWO (162)
SQUARE FEET; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES
AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
I.
That Chapter 11, Section 3.C.(43) Code of Ordinances,
City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
(43) Parking Space: A paved area of at least one
hundred sixty -two (162) square feet, enclosed
or unenclosed, approximately nine (9) feet in
width and eighteen (18) feet in depth, having
a paved driveway connecting the parking space
with a street or alley and permitting ingress
or egress of an automobile. A "parking space"
shall not occupy any public land. In a cluster
housing development a parking space may immedi-
ately abut a private drive which serves as a
primary means of access.
II.
That Chapter 11, Section 3.0.(1)(d), Code of Ordinances,
City of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows:
(d) A parking space shall contain a minimum of one
hundred sixty -two (162) square feet and shall
be approximately nine (9) feet in width and
eighteen (18) feet in depth. All parking
spaces, parking ormaneuvering aisles and drive-
ways shall be paved.
(e) The minimum width of a maneuvering aisle shall
be determined based on the angle of the ad-
joining parking spaces as follows:
(i) A maneuvering aisle which adjoins parking
spaces with a ninety (90 °) angle shall
have a width of at least twenty -six (26')
feet.
(ii) A maneuvering aisle which adjoins parking
spaces with a seventy -five (75 °) degree
angle shall have a width of at least
twenty -three (23') feet.
(iii) A maneuvering aisle which adjoins parking
spaces with a sixty (60 °) degree angle
shall have a width of at least sixteen
(16') feet.
(iv) A maneuvering aisle which adjoins parking
spaces with a forty -five (45 °) degree angle
shall have a width of at least twelve and
one -half (121/2!) feet.

ordinance shall not invalidate other sections or provisions
thereof.
B. All ordinances, parts of ordinances, or resolutions
in conflict herewith are expressly repealed.
