AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF 78.83 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES
ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Art. 970a, V.A.T.S., two
public hearings were held before the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were
provided an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexa-
tion of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, one of the public hearings was held within the
area proposed to be annexed, on the 13th day of nay
, 19 82 , and the other public hearing was held in the
Council Chambers on thel3th day of May , 19 82;
which hearing dates were not more than forty (40) days nor
less than twenty (20) days prior to institution of annexation
proceedings, and
WHEREAS, notice of both public hearings was published in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round
Rock, Texas, on the 29th day of April , 19 82
which date is not more than twenty (20) days nor less than
ten (10) days prior to each hearing.
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the
present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas; and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of
Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock
have been complied with; and
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 78.83
acres; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
"A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying

13) S 30 05' 50" W, 264.56 feet to an iron pin found;
14) S 30 38' 00" W, 205.47 feet to an iron pin found;
15) S 30 33' 00" W, 305.72 feet to an iron pin found, said
point being on the Northerly boundary line of Northridge
Acres No.2, recorded in Volume 14, Page 84 of the Plat
Records of said County and State;
16) N 59 36' 00" W, 126.98 feet to a point;
17) N 59 41' 15" W, 125.01 feet to a point;
18) N 59 33' 25" W, 124.81 feet to a point;
19) N 59 42' 15" W, 217.58 feet to a point;
20) N 60 34' 20" W, 93.62 feet to a point being the South-
west corner hereof;
THENCE, leaving said Southerly line and continuing along the
Westerly boundary line hereof the following three (3) courses
and distances:
1) N 15 58' 00" W, 1334.87 feet to a point on the Easterly
line of Bretton Cemetery;
2) N 44 18' 00" E, 111.29 feet to a point being the North-
east corner of said Bratton Cemetery tract;
3) N 45 30' 15" W, 138.08 feet to an iron pin found on
the Southerly Right -Of -Way line of said FM 1325 marking
the Northwest corner hereof, said point also being the
beginning of a curve concave to the South having a radius
of 894.93 feet;
THENCE, leaving said Westerly line and continuing along the North-
erly boundary line hereof the following two courses and distances:
1) 332.39 feet along the arc of said curve through a central
angle of 21 16' 50 ", said curve's long chord bears
N 76 13' 35" E, 330.48 feet to a Texas Highway Department
Monument at Engineer's Station PT 643+ 32.13;
2) N 86° 52' 00" E, at 2177.33 feet to a point on said
present city limits of the City of Round Rock, 2252.93
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 78.83 acres

described shall hereafter be included within the boundary
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present
boundary limits of such city, at the various points contigu-
ous to the area hereinafter described, are altered and
amended so as to include said area within the corporate
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so
annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
the inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all of
the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be
bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of
the City of Round Rock, Texas.
