AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 196 TO CORRECT
THE PROPERTY DESCRIPTION OF THE TERRITORY ANNEXED
BY SAID ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, on August 27, 1981, the City Council adopted
Ordinance No. 196 which annexed certain territory to the
corporate limits of the City, and
WHEREAS, due to an error, certain property was included
in the legal description which was not subject to annexation,
and
WHEREAS, all other property described in said ordinance
was subject to annexation, and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to correct the description
of the property annexed, Now Therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS
I.
That Ordinance No. 196 is hereby amended and corrected
by replacing the description of the property contained
therein with the property description attached hereto as
Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof.
II.
In all other respects said ordinance is affirmed and
continues in effect and this ordinance shall have no effect
whatsoever on the property described herein which was annexed
pursuant to Ordinance 196 and said territory remains a part
of the corporate limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas.

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirma-
tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement
for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed
with.

FIELD NOTES describing e 258.53 acre tract or parcel of land, out of the
David Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130, situated in Williamson County, Texas,
and being comprised and consisting of all or part of the following seven (7)
tracts as described and recorded in the Deed Records of Williamson County,
Texas, in the volumes and pages shown:
1) all of that certain 8.16 acres, conveyed to H. L. Peterson, et ux, by
deed recorded in Volume 352, Page 13;
2) all of Tract 1 (12.37 acres), all of Tract 1 -A (8.26 acres) and all of
Tract 3 (7.12 acres) conveyed to C. D. Fulkes, Jr. and Lucretia Fulkes
Peterson by Partition Deed in Volume 559, Page 692;
3) a portion of those certain lands conveyed to E. I. Cervenka by deed
recorded in Volume 303, Page 121;
4) a portion of those certain lands conveyed to Edgar Hoppe by deed in Vol-
ume 458, Page 533;
5) all of that certain 42.36 acre tract conveyed to Austin Industries,
Inc., by deed in Volume 748, Page 470;
6) a portion of those certain lands conveyed to Leroy Lange, et ux, and
Harold Rasmussen, et ux, by deed recorded in Volume 515, Page 197;
7) approximately 13.2 acres of land out of the Missouri- Pacific Railroad
Round Rock - Georgetown Spur; said seven (7) tracts combined containing 258.53
acres, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as fol-
lows:
BEGINNING at a point in the West right -of -way line of Chisholm Trail Road at
the Northeast corner of Round Rock Industrial Park, as shown on a Plat of
Record in Cabinet C, Slides 293 -294 of the Plat Records of said County, said
point being in the current North city limits of the City of Round Rock,
Texas, for the Southeast corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter
described 258.53 acre PARCEL "A -1 ";
THENCE along the North line of said Round Rock Industrial Park, being the
South line of said Peterson tract, S72 ° 19'W, 901.67 feet to a point in the
West right -of -way line of said Missouri- Pacific Railroad for the Southwest
corner hereof;
THENCE along said West right -of -way line of said Missouri - Pacific Railroad,
for the West line hereof, the following five (5) courses:
1) N12 ° 23'W, 2407.99 feet to an angle point hereof;
2) N13 ° 06'W, 1412.26 feet to a Point of Curvature hereof;
