AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF 15.37 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES
ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Art. 970a, V.A.T.S., two
public hearings were held before the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were
provided an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexa-
tion of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, one of the public hearings was held within the
area proposed to be annexed, on the 23rd day of November
19 82 , and the other public hearing was held in the
Council Chambers on the 23rd day of November , 19 82;
which hearing dates were not more than forty (40) days nor
less than twenty (20) days prior to institution of annexation
proceedings, and
WHEREAS, notice of both public hearings was published in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round
Rock, Texas, on the 2 nd day of December , 19 82,
which date is not more than twenty (20) days nor less than
ten (10) days prior to each hearing.
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the
present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas; and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of
Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock
have been complied with; and
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 15.37
acres; now therefore,
BF IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
"A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying
adjacent to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City
of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory hereinafter
described shall hereafter be included within the boundary
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present
boundary limits of such city, at the various points contigu-
ous to the area hereinafter described, are altered and
amended so as to include said area within the corporate
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so
annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
the inhabitants thereof, if any shall be entitled to all of
the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be
bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of
the City of Round Rock, Texas.

tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement

M. Harrell Survey, Abstract No. 284, situated in Williamson County, Texas,
being all of that certain 15.00 acres conveyed to Lifemark Hospitals, Inc.,
by deed recorded in Volume 871, Page 888, of the Deed Records of said
County, and a portion of that certain 47.83 acre "FIRST TRACT" conveyed to
Austin White Lime Company by deed recorded in Volume 428, Page 516, of said

BEGINNING at an iron pin found in the North fenced right -of -way line of R.M.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION
NOW COME Austin White Lime Company, a Texas limited
partnership, and Lifemark Hospitals, Inc., a Delaware
corporation, petitioners, and file this petition requesting
annexation of the hereinafter described property into the city
limits of the City of Round Rock, State of Texas, and would show
unto this Honorable Council the following:
(1) That petitioners are the owners of real property which
is particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference for all
purposes.
(2) That there are no individuals residing on the aforesaid
property and that annexation into the city limits of the City of
Round Rock will not dilute or affect the voting strength of any
minority in the City of Round Rock.
WHEREFORE, PREMISES CONSIDERED, petitioners request that the
above described real property be annexed into the city limits of
the City of Round Rock, County of Williamson, State of Texas.
