O-83-1030 - 6/23/1983ORDINANCE NO. /OM AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED PROPERTY TO -WIT: WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on thel6th day of June , 19 83, held a public hearing to consider the designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 16th day of June , 19 83, that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the above- described property be given a permanent zoning designation of District R -2 (Moderate Density Residential) and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT: An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned District R -2 (Moderate Density Residential) (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.) Alternative 1. By motion duly made, seconded, and passed with an affirmative vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with. day of Alternative 2. Glasscock Survey, Abst. #267, and being part of a 47 acre tract described in a deed to Vonnie Tucker in Volume 490, Page 514, Deed Records of Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground in July of 1976, by W.F. Forest, Registered Public Surveyor No. 101. BEGINNING at an iron pin found at an ell corner in the West line of the said 47 acre tract, a fence corner. THENCE S 74 °19' W 306.22 feet with a fence to set an iron pin. THENCE N 15 °47'30" W 225.5 feet to set an iron pin. THENCE N 75 °33' E 1172.91 feet crossing the common line between the D. Curry Survey and the G.W. Glasscock Survey to set an iron pin in the fenced West line of Sunrise Road (County Road 115). THENCE S_.00 °02'30° E 283.53 feet ; with the fence.to an iron pin found.
