CM-2022-230 - 10/7/2022STATE OF TEXAS § COUNTY OF WILLIAMSON § SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACT NO. 5 TO CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FIRM: SEILER LANKES GROUP, LLC ("Engineer") ADDRESS: 345 C rpress Creek Drive, Suite 101, Cedar Park, TX 78681 PROJECT: University Boulevard — A.W. Grimes to SH 130 .. This Supplemental Contract No. 5 to Contract for Engineering Services is made by and between the City of Round Rock, Texas, hereinafter called the "City" and Seiler Lankes Group, LLC, hereinafter called the "Engineer". WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed a Contract for Engineering Services, hereinafter called the "Contract", on the 14th day of February, 2019 for the University Boulevard A.W. Grimes to SH 130 Project in the amount of $342,637.75; and WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed Supplemental Contract No. 1 on April 23, 2020 to amend the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $102,548.46 to a total of $445, l 86.21; and WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed Supplemental Contract No. 2 on February 22, 2021 to amend the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $25,248.05 to a total of $470,434.26; and WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed Supplemental Contract No. 3 on April 9, 2021 to amend the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $16,317.00 to a total of $486,751.26; and WHEREAS, the City and Engineer executed Supplemental Contract No. 4 on May 27, 2022 to modify the work schedule; and WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the Contract to modify the provisions for the scope of services and to increase the compensation by $28,591.06 to a total of $515,342.32; NOW THEREFORE, premises considered, the City and the Engineer agree that said Contract is amended as follows: Supplemental Contract 0199 1902.4862-5610.3732 kev.06l16 84275 Article 2, Engineering Services and Exhibit. B, Engineering Services shall be amended as set forth in the attached Addendum to Exhibit B. Exhibit C, Work Schedule shall be amended as set forth in the attached Addendum to Exhibit C. Article 4, Compensation and Exhibit D, Fee Schedule shall be amended by increasing by $28,591.06 the lump sum amount payable under the Contract for a total of $515,342.32, as shown by the attached Addendum to Exhibit D. The engineering services to be performed include the updating of the existing 2014 Williamson County plans to currently available City of Round Rock and TxDOT manuals, guidelines and standards as applicable. This project involves rehabilitation of the two existing lanes and construction of two additional lanes with associated medians and turn lanes to support a four lane divided facility. This project is listed in the City's 2017 Transportation Master Plan. This supplemental agreement #5 is necessary to pay for engineering work required to design a 4 Leg Traffic Signal at Solerno and University and to update the Striping Plan accordingly. This work is required to accommodate a TIA for an adjacent development project. This Supplemental also extends the engineering contract through June of 2023 for construction phase services to accommodate the contractor's current construction schedule. The original contract was for $342,637.75. Previous Supplementals raised the contract price to $486,751.26. Adding this Supplemental for $28,591.06 brings the contract total to $515,342.32.
