AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART
OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent
zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation
of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its
recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 7th
day of July , 19 83, held a public hearing to consider the
designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and
has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 7th day of
July , 1983, that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that
the above - described property be given a permanent zoning designation of
District R -1 (Low Density Residential) ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes
of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round
Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been
fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned
District R -1 -(Low Density Residential)
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded, and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this
ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES FOR 7.302 ACRES
EXHIBIT "A"
TRACT 2
FIELD NOTES describing a 7.302 acre tract or parcel of land out of the J. M.
Harrell Survey, Abstract No. 284, situated in Williamson County, Texas, being
all of the remainder of that certain 150 acres conveyed to Janet Johnson Bar-
tholomew, Joel Whitlow Johnson, James Daniel Johnson, John Kristian Johnson, and
Jean Johnson Bechtol, by deed recorded in Volume 656, Page 514 of the Deed
Records of said County, being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin found in the centerline of Brushy Creek, being the
Southeast corner of said 150 acres, being the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE along the South line of said 150 acres, being the South line hereof, the
following three (3) courses:
1) 569'14'50 "W, 86.00 feet to an iron pin found' at a fence corner post on the
North edge of a steep bluff along said Brushy Creek, being an angle point here-
of;
2) S68 ° 50'25 "W, 353.51 feet to an iron pin found at a fence post, being an
angle point hereof;
3) 569'00'50 "W, 293.13 feet to an iron pin found at a fence post, being the
most Southerly Southeast corner of a 132.808 acre tract conveyed to P.M.H. Joint
Venture by deed recorded in Volume 923, Page 559 of said Deed Records, being the
Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE along an East line of said 132.808 acres, being the West line hereof,
N22 ° 08'40 "W, 458.20 feet to an iron pin found, being an angle point in an East
line of said 132.808 acres, being the Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE continue along an East line of said 132.808 acres, being the North line
hereof, the following two (2) courses:
1) N42 ° 41'E, 361.15 feet to an iron pin found, being an angle point hereof;
2) N58 ° 52'E, 131.54 feet to a point in said Brushy Creek, being the most East-
erly Southeast corner of said 132.808 acres, being the Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE along the centerline of said Brushy Creek, being an East line of said 150
acres, being the East line hereof, the following four (4) courses:
1) S31 ° 08'E, 279.25 feet to an iron pipe found in concrete, being an angle
paint hereof;
2) S40 ° 57'25 "E, 29.83 feet to a railroad spike found in concrete, being an
angle point hereof;
3) S23 ° 46'50 "E, 24.44 feet to a railroad spike found in concrete, being an
angle point hereof;
4) S57 ° 02'20 "E, 387.67 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described
tract containing 7.302 acres of land more or less.
