PI/ / AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 1.92 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS. WHEREAS, in accordance with Art. 970a, V.A.T.S., two public hearings were held before the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were provided an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexa- tion of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof, and WHEREAS, one of the public hearings was held within the arca proposed to be annexed, on the 12th day of May 19 83 , and the other public hearing was held in the Council Chambers on the 12th day of May 1983 which hearing dates were not more than forty (40) days nor less than twenty (20) days prior to institution of annexation proceedings, and WHEREAS, notice of both public hearings was published in a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round Rock, Texas, on the 28th day of April 19 83 which date is not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to each hearing, and WHEREAS, the planning department has prepared a service plan that provides for the extension of municipal services into the territory to be annexed, and WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock have been complied with, and WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 1.92 acres; nos therefore, voL 945rAGE 159 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS: Section 1.
