AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART
OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent
zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation
of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its
recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 1st
day of December , 19 83, held a public hearing to consider the
designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and
has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 8th day of
December , 19 83 , that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that
the above - described property be given a,permanent zoning designation of
District R -2 (Moderate Density Residential) ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes
of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round
Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been
fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned
District R -2 (Moderate Densitv Residential)
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded, and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this
ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES FOR 21.253 ACRES
FIELD NOTES describing a 21.253 acre tract or parcel of land out of the Asa
Thomas Survey, Abstract No. 609, situated in Williamson County, Texas, being a
portion of the remainder of that certain 62.38 acres conveyed to Everett R.
Moore by deed recorded in Volume 816, . Page 667 of the Deed Records of said
County, and a portion of that certain undivided one -half (1/2) interest in a
10.006 acre tract conveyed to Patty Bushong by deed recorded in Volume 821, Page
266 of said Deed Records, being more particularly described by metes and bounds
as follows:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at an iron pin found in the fenced South right -of -way
line of Gattis School Road, being the Northeast corner of that certain 37.213
acres conveyed to Harry L. Silverman, Jr., and E. L. Kendrick by deed recorded
in Volume 920, Page 305 of said Deed Records and the Northwest corner of that
certain 1.297 acres conveyed to said Silverman and said Kendrick by deed record-
ed in Volume 937, Page 491 of said Deed Records, also being the Northwest corner
of said 62.38 acres; thence 519 ° 27'40 "E, 422.67 feet to the Northwest corner and
POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter described 21.253 acres;
THENCE along the North line hereof, N86 ° 23'20 "E, 993.92 feet to a point in the
fenced East line of said 62.38 acres, being the Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE along the fenced East line of said 62.38 acres, being the East line here-
of, the following five (5) courses:
1) S17 ° 46'E, 189.57 feet to an angle point hereof;
2) S15 ° 03'E, 113.84 feet to an angle point hereof;
3) S20 ° 25'30 "E, 86.70 feet to an angle point hereof;
4) 519 ° 53'30 "E, 204.09 feet to an angle point hereof;
5) S16 ° 51'30 "E, 130.00 feet to the Southeast corner hereof;
THENCE along the South line hereof, the following three (3) courses:
1) S73 ° 08'W, 313.38 feet to an iron pin set, being an angle point hereof;
2) S37 ° 28'W, 592.95 feet to an iron pin set, being an angle point hereof;
3) S70 ° 32'W, 129.66 feet to the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE along the fenced East line of said 37.213 acres, being the West line
hereof, the following two (2) courses:
1) N19 ° 24'20 "W, 746.16 feet to an iron pin found, being an angle point hereof;
2) N19 ° 27'40 "W, 558.32 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described
tract of land containing 21.253 acres more or less.
