AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO
THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART
OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT:
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent
zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation
of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its
recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 5th
day of April , 19 84 , held a public hearing to consider the
designation of permanent zoning for the above - described property, and
has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 5th day of
April , 1984, that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that
the above- described property be given a permanent zoning designation of
DISTRICT R -2 (MODERATE DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes
of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round
Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been
fully complied with;
- NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of
Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached
hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned
DISTRICT R -2 (MODERATE DENSITY RESIDENTIAL)
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable.)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded, and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for reading this
ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

F ELD r.OTES FOR 4.655 ACRES
FIELD NOTES describing a 4.655 acre tract or parcel of land, being 4.489 acres
out of the David Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130 and 0.166 acres out of the
George W. Glasscock Survey, Abstract No. 267, situated in Williamson County,
Texas, being all of the remainder of that certain 41.93 acres conveyed to Joe M.
Saunders by deed recorded in Volume 517, Page 626 of the Deed Records of said
County, being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of said 41.93 acres, being the Southeast cor-
ner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter described 4.655 acres;
THENCE along the South line of said 41.93 acres, being the South line hereof,
the following two (2) courses:
1) S76 ° 23'30 "W, 167.22 feet to an angle point hereof;
2) S76 ° 34'50 "W, 232.03 feet to the Southeast corner of a 37.28 acre tract con-
veyed to Provident Development Company by deed recorded in Volume 926, Page 671
of said Deed Records; being the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE along an East line of said 37.28 acres, being the West line hereof,
N19 ° 13'W, 378.19 feet to a point in a curving South line of said 37.28 acres,
being the Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE along said South line, the following two (2) courses:
1) along the arc of a curve to the left having elements of delta = 01'03'57 ",
radius = 365.21 feet, arc = 6.79 feet, tangent = 3.40 feet, chord bearing and
chord = N65 ° 09'E, 6.79 feet to a Paint of Tangency hereof;
2) N64 433.20 feet to a point in the West margin of County Road No. 115
(Sunrise Road), being an angle point hereof;
THENCE along said West margin, N89 ° 56'E, 118.41 feet to the Northeast corner
hereof;
THENCE along an East line of said 41.93 acres, being the East line hereof,
500 ° 24'40 "W, 452.63 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract
of land containing•4.655 acres of land.
