O-84-1097 - 8/23/1984ORDINANCE NO. A297 / AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART OF THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED PROPERTY TO -WIT: 6.620 ACRES AS DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A ". WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning Commission for its recommendation and report; and WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the 21st day of June , 19 84 , held a public hearing to consider the designation of permanent zoning for the above- described property, and has approved and recommended to the City Council on the 16th day of August , 19 84 that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the above- described property be given a permanent zoning designation, of District R -6 (Low Density Residential) ; and WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the statutes of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other procedural matters have been fully complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT: An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the same is permanently zoned District R -6 (Low Density Residential) (Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable) Alternative 1. HOLDER SURVEY, A -297, IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AND BEING A PORTION OF THAT TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO SOUTH CREEK JOINT VENTURE BY DEED RECORDED IN VOLUME 785, PAGE 9, WILLIAMSON COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAID 6.620 ACRES OF LAND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING at an iron rod set in the west line oCthe said South Creek tract for the northwest corner hereof, and from which an iron rod at the westernmost northwest corner of same bears N06 08'44 "W, 270.00 feet; THENCE over and across the said South Creek tract, the following five(5) courses and distances: (1) N83 51'27 "E, 884.53 feet to an iron rod set; (2) S34 19'59 "W, 60.03 feet to an iron rod set; (3) 208.14 feet along the arc of a curve to the left, having a radius of 624.83 feet and a chord which bears S24 47'24 "W, 207.18 feet to an iron rod set; (4) S15 14'49 "W, 169.79 feet to an iron rod set; and (5) N83 51'27 "W, 679.23 feet to an iron rod set on the west line of the said Kinningham tract; THENCE with the west line of the said South Creek tract,the following four(4) courses and distances: (1) N10 18'23 "E, 187.48 feet to an iron pipe found; (2) N32 08'54 "W, 109.17 feet to an iron pipe found; (3) N83 44'48 "E, 15.00 feet to an iron rod found; and (4) N06 08'44 "W, 164.91 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING, containing 6.620 acres of land more or less.
