BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,

That the Official Zoning Map adopted in Chapter 11,
Section 3.E.(2), Code of Ordinances, City of Round Rock,
Texas is hereby amended so that the zoning classification of
the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein is hereby changed from District R -6
(Low Density Residential) and shall be, and hereafter
designated as Historic District C - (Commercial)

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF
THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11,
SECTION 3.E.(2), CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND
ROCK, TEXAS AND MAKING THIS AMENDMENT A PART OF THE
SAID OFFICIAL ZONING MAP, TO -WIT: TO CHANGE 3.29
ACRES, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE JACOB M. HARRELL
SURVEY, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS, AS
DESCRIBED BELOW FROM DISTRICT R -6 (LOW DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL) TO HISTORIC DISTRICT C -1
(COMMERCIAL)
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Coun-
cil of the City of Round Rock, Texas to amend the Official
Zoning Map to change the zoning classification of the proper-
ty described in Exhibit "A" from District R -6 (Low Density
Residential) to Historic District C - 1 (Commercial)
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the requested
change in the Official Zoning Map to the Planning and Zoning
Commission for its recommendation and report, and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission held a
public hearing concerning the requested change on the 16th
day of August , 1984 , following lawful publication of
the notice of said public hearing, and
WHEREAS, after considering the public testimony received
at such hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission has
recommended that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that
the zoning classification of the above described property be
changed from District R -6 (Low Density Residential)
to Historic District C -1 (Commercial) , and
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of August 1984 after
proper notification, the City Council held a public hearing
on the requested change, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that sub-
stantial changes in conditions have occurred which justify
the zoning classification change provided for herein, and
WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the zoning
classification change provided for herein promotes the

BEING a 3.29 acre tract of land situated in the J. M. Harrell Survey,
Abstract No. 284, Williamson County, Texas, said tract also being in
the City of Round Rock and also being the remainder of that certain
3.31 acre tract of land conveyed by deed to Don Davol and Laura Davol
from J. 0. Barger as recorded in Volume 436, Page 419 of the Deed
Records of Williamson County, Texas. Surveyed on the ground under the
supervision of R. T. Magness, Jr., Registered Public Surveyor, and
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin found marking the N.W. corner of said 3.31 acre
tract for the N.W. corner hereof, said corner also being the N.E. corner
of the Little Oak Subdivision to the City of Round Rock and also being
in the South line of R.M. Road No. 620;
THENCE, S 01 04' W, 299.98 feet to an iron pin found at an existing fence
corner post marking the S.W. corner hereof;
THENCE, N 85 51' E, 521.06 feet to an iron pin found in the West line of
Chisholm Trail for the'S.E. corner hereof;
THENCE, N 15 36' E, 92.19 feet with said West line of Chisholm Trail to
an iron pin found at the intersection with the West line of the existing
railroad right -of -way for a corner hereof;
THENCE, N 16° 19' W, 157.01 feet with said railroad right -of -way to an
iron pin found at the intersection with the said South line of R.M. Road
No. 620 for the N.E. corner hereof;
THENCE, with said South line of R.M. Road No. 620, N 75 36' W, 51.92
feet to an iron pin and N 88° 44' W, 444.63 feet to the Place of
