AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO THE
OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART OF
THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT: 1.000 ACRES AS DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A ".
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing
permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed
designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning
Commission for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the
6th day4of December , 19 84 , held a public hearing
to consider the designation of permanent zoning for the
above - described property, and has approved and recommended to the
City Council on the 6th day of December
that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the
above - described property be given a permanent zoning designation,
of District R - 12 (Moderate Density Residential)
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the
statutes of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other
procedural matters have been fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT:
An•addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the
same is permanently zoned District R -12 (Moderate Density Residential)
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES FOR A 1.000 ACRE TRACT OF LAND OUT OF THE DAVID CURRY SURVEY,
ABSTRACT NO. 130, IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS: SAME BEING ALL OF THAT
CERTAIN 1.00 ACRE TRACT AS CONVEYED TO KENNETH ROALAND CANNADY, ET UX,
FROM MARVIN H. PARKER BY DEED RECORDED ON APRIL 20, 1978, IN VOLUME 708,
PAGE 435, DEED RECORDS OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS: SAID 1.000 ACRE TRACT
BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AS FOLLOWS:
BEGINNING at a chiseled "x" on a concrete drainage flume for the southwest
corner of the herein described tract, same being on the existing north
right -of -way of Bowman Drive (County Road 125);
THENCE along the west line of the herein described tract, N17 °44'40 "W,
passing at 9.12 feet a 1/2" iron rod found, and continuing for a total
distance of 235.40 feet to a 1/4" iron rod found for the northwest corner
hereof, also being a southwest corner of that certain tract conveyed to
James S. Hislop, Trustee, by deed recorded in Volume 723, Page 120, Deed
Records of Williamson County, Texas;
THENCE along the common boundary with said Hislop tract the following two
(2) courses:
1) N70 °30'00 "E, a distance of 185.06 feet to a 1/4" iron rod found
for the northeast corner hereof;
2) S17 °44'40 "E, a distance of 235.40 feet to a 1/2" iron rod set for
the southeast corner hereof, same being on the existing north right -
of -way line of said Bowman Drive;
THENCE along said north right -of -way line, S70 °30'00 "W, a distance of 185.06
feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 1.000 acres of land, more or
less, as surveyed on the ground by LandTech Surveying on August 28, 1984.
