AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO THE
OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART OF
THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT• 38.11 ACRES AS DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A ".
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing
permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed
designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning
Commission for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the
6th day'of December , 19 84 , held a public hearing
to consider the designation of permanent zoning for the
above - described property, and has approved and recommended to the
City Council on the 6th day of December , 19 84 ,
that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the
above - described property be given a permanent zoning designation,
of District R -6 (Low Density Residential) ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the
statutes of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other
procedural matters have been fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the
same is permanently zoned District R -6 (Low Density Residential)
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES describing 38.11 acres of land out of the P. A. Holder Survey,
Abstract No. 297, situated in Williamson County, Texas, being all of those
certain lands described in deeds recorded in said Deed Records, as
follows: Vol. 800, Pg. 345; Vol. 881, Pg. 529; Vol. 672, Pg. 83; Vol.
754, Pg. 921; Vol. 837, Pg. 657; Vol. 896, Pg. 224; Vol. 957, Pg. 366;
Vol. 689, Pg. 477; Vol. 617, Pg. 561; Vol. 844, Pg. 158; all of the
remainder of that certain tract of land described in Vol. 621, Pg. 934 of
said Deed Records and a portion of the Missouri - Pacific Railroad Company
right -of -way; said tracts combined having a total acreage of 38.11 acres
of land, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as
follows:

BEGINNING at a point in the approximate centerline of Brushy Creek, being
the most northerly northwest corner of that certain 6.5 acre tract of land
conveyed to Wayland Basey, et ux, by deed recorded in Volume 837, Page 657
of the said Deed Records, for the most northerly northwest corner and
POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter described 38.11 acres of land;
THENCE along said approximate centerline of said Brushy Creek, for the
north line hereof, the following seven (7) courses:
1.) S63 °24'20 "E, 653.68 feet to an angle point hereof;
2.) S53 °00'E, 421.58 feet to an angle point hereof;
3.) S09 ° 16'W, 75.69 feet to an angle point hereof;

6.) S80 °09'E, 176.35 feet to an angle point hereof;
7.) S70 °30'E, 150.18 feet to a point in the south right -of -way line of the
Missouri- Pacific Railroad Company right -of -way, for the southeast corner

THENCE along said south right -of -way line of said railroad, for the south

THENCE departing said south right -of -way line of said railroad, along the
