AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO THE
OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART OF
THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT: 28 407 ACRES AS DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A ".
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing
permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed
designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning
Commission for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the
6th d December , 19 84 , held a public hearing
to consider the designation of permanent zoning for the
above - described property, and has approved and recommended to the
City Council on the 6th day of December , 1984 ,
that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the
above - described property be given a permanent zoning designation,
of District R - 12 (Moderate Density Residential) ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the
statutes of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other
procedural matters have been fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the
same is permanently zoned R - 17 (Moderate Density Residential)
(Mark through the following alternative that is not applicable)
Alternative 1.
By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

FIELD NOTES describing a 28.407 acre tract or parcel of land out of the
Thomas Survey, Abstract No. 609. situated in Williamson County,.
Texas, being a portion of the remainder of that certain 62.38 acres
c-..:veyed to Everett R. Moore by deed recorded in Volume 816, Page 667
o;• the Deed Records of said county; a portion of that certain undivid-
ed one -half (1/2) interest in a 10.006 acre tract conveyed to Patty
gushong by deed recorded in Volume 821, Page 266 of said Deed Records,
aad all of that certain 10.008 acre tract conveyed to Billy 'P.ay
by deed recorded in Volume 925, Page 760 of said Deed Records, and be-
irg more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING FOR REFERENCE at an iron pin found in the south right -of -way
line of Gattis School Road, being the northeast corner of said 62.38
acre tract; thence departing said south right -of -way line, S17 45'40 "E,
265.83 feet, S17 46'E, 343.06 feet, S15 03'E, 113.84 feet, S20 25'30 "E,
86.70 feet, S19 53'30 "E, 204.09 feet and S16 51'30 "E, 130.00 feet to an
iron pin set for the northeast corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the
hereinafter described 28.407 acre tract;
THENCE along the east line hereof, the following four (4) courses:
1.) S16 51'30 "E, 517.74 feet to an iron pin found for an angle point
hereof;
2.) S17 36'15 "E, 259.89 feet to an iron pin found for an angle point
hereof;
3.) 519 12'R, 219.10 feet to an iron pin found for an angle point
hereof;
4.) S19 09'E, 480.75 feet to an iron pin found at the northeast corner
of that certain 232.49 acre tract conveyed to Margaret Scarbrough Wil-
son by deed recorded in Volume 584, Page 928 of said Deed Records, for
the southeast corner hereof;
THENCE along the north line of said 232.49 acre tract, for the south
line hereof, the following two (2) courses:
1.) S70 56'W, 550.21 feet to an iron pin found for an angle point
hereof;
2.) S71 04'W, 355.42 feet to an iron pin found at the'southwest corner
of said 62.38 acre tract, being the southeast corner of Windy Terrace -
Section One, as shown on a Plat or Record in Cabinet E, Slides 363 -364,
of the Plat Records of said county, for the southwest corner hereof;
THENCE along the division line between said 62.38 acre tract and said
Section One, for the west line hereof, the following two (2) courses:
1.) N19 22'50 "W, 959.67 feet to an iron pin found for an angle point
hereof:
2.) N19 24'20 "W, 200.66 feet to an iron in found for the northwest
corner hereof;
THENCE along the north line hereof, the following three (3) courses:
1.) 070 32'E, 129.66 feet 10 an iron pin set for an angle point hereof;
2.) N37 28'E, 592.95 feet to an iron pin set for an angle point hereof;
3.) N73 08'E, 313.37 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein des-
cribed tract, containing 20.407 acres (1,237,398 square feet) of land.
