3
AN ORDINANCE ADDING TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP PASSED
AND ADOPTED IN CHAPTER 11, SECTION 3.E.(2) OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, ADDING TO THE
OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND MAKING THIS ADDITION A PART OF
THE OFFICIAL MAP BY ADDING CERTAIN NEWLY ANNEXED
PROPERTY TO -WIT: 30.252 ACRES AS DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A ".
WHEREAS, an application has been made to the.City Council of
the City of Round Rock, Texas, for the purpose of providing
permanent zoning of newly annexed property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has submitted the proposed
designation of permanent zoning to the City Planning and Zoning
Commission for its recommendation and report; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission on the
6th day December 84
y , 19 , held a public hearing
to consider the designation of permanent zoning for the
above - described property, and has approved and recommended to the
City Council on the 6th day of December , 19 84 ,
that the Official Zoning Map be amended so that the
above - described property be given a permanent zoning designation,
of District R -12 (Moderate Density Residential) ; and
WHEREAS, each and every requirement set forth in the
statutes of the State of Texas and in the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Round Rock, concerning notices, hearings, and other
procedural matters have been fully complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ROUND ROCK, TEXAS, THAT:
An addition be made to the Official Zoning Map of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, so that the property described in Exhibit
"A ", attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be and the
District R -12 (Moderate Density Residential)

By motion duly made, seconded and passed with an affirmative
vote of all the Council members present, the requirement for
reading this ordinance on two separate days was dispensed with.

All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in Williamson
County, Texas, and being out of a part of the N. B. Anderson Survey, Abstract
No. 29, and described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin found in the east line of a 285.58 acre tract conveyed
to Ernest Anderson and P.A. Quick by H. B. Prather and wife, S. E. Prather,
by deed dated October 26, 1900, recorded in Book 98, Page 216, Deed Records of
Williamson County, Texas, and also being the Northeast corner of a tract of
land conveyed by Ernest D. Anderson and wife, Freda Anderson, to P. A. Quick
by deed dated December 14, 1903, recorded in Book 107, Page 425, Deed Records
of Williamson County, Texas, being a Southeast corner hereof; THENCE
N 71 11' 34" E for a distance of 1788.84 feet to an iron pin found;THENCE
.N 17 ° 56' 16" W for a distance of 539.00 feet to an iron pin found; THENCE
N 19 38' 39" W for a distance of 874.01 feet to an iron pin found, said pin
being 999.52 feet , N 70 24' 18" E from a concrete monument marking the SW
corner of A. L. Eaves Survey and the NW corner of G. W. Glasscock Survey and
the Southwest corner and POINT OF BEGINNING hereof;
THENCE S 70 47' 50" W for a distance of 1333.39 feet to an iron pin, set for
the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE N 19 12' 10" W for a distance of 889.60 feet to an iron pin set for
the Northwest corner hereof;
THENCE N 70 47' 50" E for a distance of 1535.01 feet to an iron pin found for
the Southeast corner of Vista Heights, Section 8, THENCE N 70 47' 50" E for a
distance of 40.00 feet to an iron pin set for the Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE S 19 12' 10" E for a distance of 544.60 feet to an iron pin found for
a corner hereof;
THENCE S 70 47' 50" W for a distance of 241.61 feet to an iron pin for a
corner hereof;
THENCE S 19 12' 10" EFfor a distance of 345.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING
containing 30.252 acres of land, more or less.
