AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF 1.000 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY
LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Art. 970a, V.A.T.S., two
public hearings were held before the City Council of the City
of Round. Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were
provided an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexa-
tion of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, one of the public hearings was held. in the
Council Chambers on the 8th day of November
19 84 and the other public hearing was held in the Council
Chambers on the 20th day of November , 19 84 ; which
hearing dates were not more than forty (40) days nor less
than twenty (20) days prior to institution of annexation
proceedings, and
WHEREAS, notices of both public hearings were published in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round
Rock, Texas, on the 25th day of October and the 8th day of
November, 1984, which dates are not more than twenty (20) days
nor less than ten (10) nays prior to the respective hearing, and
WHEREAS, the planning department has prepared a service
plan that provides for the extension of municipal services
into the territory to be annexed, and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the
present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of
Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock
have been complied with, and
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 1.000
acres; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
"A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying
adjacent to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City
of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory hereinafter
described shall hereafter be included within the boundary
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present
boundary limits of such city, at the various points
contiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered and
amended so as to include said area within the corporate
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section,2. The above described territory and the area so
annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
the inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all of
the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be
bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of
the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 3. The service plan providing for the extension
of municipal services into the territory to be annexed is
attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and such plan is hereby
adopted and approved.
