ORDINANCE NO. /5
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN
BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS,
AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING
OF 56.68 ACRES OF LAND, WHICH SAID TERRITORY
LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Art. 970a, V.A.T.S., two
public hearings were held before the City Council of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, where all interested persons were
provided an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexa-
tion of the property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made a part hereof, and
WHEREAS, one of the public hearings was held, in the
Council Chambers on the 8th day of November
19 84 , and the other public hearing was held in the Council
Chambers on the 20th day of November , 19 84 ; which
hearing dates were not more than forty (40) days nor less
than twenty (20) days prior to institution of annexation
proceedings, and
WHEREAS, notices of both public hearings were published in
a newspaper having general circulation in the City of Round
Rock, Texas, on the 25th day of October and the 8th day of
November, 1984, which dates are not more than twenty (20) days
nor less than ten (10) days prior to the respective hearing, and
WHEREAS, the planning department has prepared a service
plan that provides for the extension of municipal services
into the territory to be annexed, and
WHEREAS, the territory lies adjacent to and adjoins the
present boundaries of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
WHEREAS, all requirements of the laws of the State of
Texas and the Home Rule Charter of the City of Round Rock
have been complied with, and
WHEREAS, the territory above described contains 56.68
acres; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROUND ROCK,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The land and territory, described in Exhibit
"A ", which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, lying
adjacent to and adjoining the present boundaries of the City
of Round Rock, Texas, is hereby added and annexed to the City
of Round Rock, Texas, and said territory hereinafter
described shall hereafter be included within the boundary
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and the present
boundary limits of such city, at the various points
contiguous to the area hereinafter described, are altered and
amended so as to include said area within the corporate
limits of the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 2. The above described territory and the area so
annexed shall be a part of the City of Round Rock, Texas, and
the inhabitants thereof, if any, shall be entitled to all of
the rights and privileges of all the citizens and shall be
bound by the acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of
the City of Round Rock, Texas.
Section 3. The service plan providing for the extension
of municipal services into the territory to be annexed is
attached hereto as Exhibit "B" and such plan is hereby
adopted and approved.

By motion duly rnade, seconded and passed with an affirma-
tive vote of all the Council members present, the requirement

FIELD NOTES describing a 56.68 acre tract or parcel of land out of the
David Curry Survey, Abstract No. 130, situated in Williamson County,
Texas, being all of that certain 28.538 acres conveyed to Four S Joint
Venture by deed recorded in Volume 1024, Page 358 of the Deed Records
of said County and all of that certain 1.187 acres conveyed to James H.
Mills and wife Lavon H. Mills by deed recorded in Volume 808, Page 213
of said Deed Records, and all of the remainder of that certain 28.128
acres conveyed to James H. Mills and Robert B. Davis by Assignment Of
Contract recorded in Volume 658, Page 113 of said Deed Records, being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the West right -of -way line of Sunrise Road
(County Road No. 115), being the Southeast corner of said 28.538 acres,
being the Southeast corner and POINT OF BEGINNING of the hereinafter
described 56.68 acres;
THENCE along the South line of said 28.538 acres, being the South line
hereof, the following four (4) courses:
1) S69 ° 44'W, 619.15 feet to an angle point hereof;
2) S70 ° 11'W, 716.66 feet to an angle point hereof;
3) S70 ° 59'W, 367.50 feet to an angle point hereof;
4) S71 ° 00'W, 1009.19 feet to a point in the existing Round Rock city
limit line, being the Southwest corner of said 28.538 acres, being
the Southwest corner hereof;
THENCE along said city limit line, being the West line of said 28.538
acres and said 28.128 acres, being the West line hereof, N19 ° 00'W,
451.90 feet pass the Southwest corner of said 28.128 acres and the
Northwest corner of said 28.538 acres, and continue a distance of
451.90 feet, in all being a total distance of 903.80 feet to the
Northwest corner of said 28.128 acres, being the Northwest corner
hereof;
THENCE departing said city limit line, in an Easterly direction, being
the North line of said 28.128 acres, being the North line hereof,
N70 ° 29'30 "E, 2711.07 feet to a point in said West right -of -way line,
being the Northeast corner hereof;
THENCE along said West right -of -way line, being the East line hereof,

56.68 ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS
The City of Round Rock, Texas will provide for the
extension of municipal services into the territory to be
annexed in accordance with the following schedule:
1. Police protection - immediately upon annexation.
2. Fire protection - immediately upon annexation.
3. Solid waste collection immediately upon
annexation.
4. Maintenance of existing water and wastewater
facilities - immediately upon annexation.
5. Maintenance of existing public roads, streets
and street lighting - immediately upon annex-
ation.
6. Maintenance of existing public parks, play-
grounds, and swimming pools - immediately upon
annexation.
7. Maintenance of any existing publically owned
facility building or service within the
territory to be annexed - immediately upon
annexation.
8. Capital improvements sufficient for providing
municipal services for the subject tract are in
place such that the cost associated with the
extension of service lines to proposed building
sites within the tract will be borne by the
owner and /or developer.
